We offer you the opportunity to live this unique experience in one morning, so you can dedicate the other remaining hours of the day to other activities.

The great thing about this experience is that it is suitable for any age group, from 0 to 99 years old. To access the boat you have to take 2 steps, so everyone will be able to access it even those who have mild back or leg problems. The boat ride takes only 8 minutes. Once you arrive you will be able to go down to the sea with a height of 150 cm (4.75 ft) then you will touch (the tide may be higher in some days). You will interact with these fantastic animals in their natural habitat, it is not a zoo or a circus, so the whole thing is in full respect for the animal. The guide will take pictures of you, so you can take home a fantastic memory of this unforgettable day.

Transfer from the meeting point with a van to reach the village of Seatons where we take the boat to reach the sandbank in the middle of the sea where we will meet the stingrays.

Stingray City

If you are going to live the most unforgettable experience in Antigua, Stingray City is the one for you. We will reach by land the starting point of the boat that in 8 minutes will take us in the middle of the sea where the meeting with the friendly Stingray will take place. It will not be necessary to know how to swim because you touch the bottom of the sea and there will be direct contact with this friendly animal. This is not a zoo or circus! Stingrays are free in their natural habitat.

From start to finish this was a fantastic trip and a definite one to book. Our driver picked us up from our hotel and took us to Stingray City. Andrew was fantastic, fun, chatty and happy to help with anything you needed. Our son loves to collect local football shirts. Andrew called ahead unbeknownst to us and we stopped at a shop and he got the shirt he wanted….. and we got some jerk chicken patties too! On arrival, the hosts were so informative about the stingrays and putting you at ease (I was a tad nervous). The stingrays swim around you, and are huge! The water is up to your waist and you get totally involved feeding them and having your photos taken. The guys were brilliant explaining everything about how gentle these creatures are and pointing out the ‘sting’ part of their tail. From a very nervous visitor of stingray city came a relaxed person in total awe of these wonderful creatures.

Andrew was great! Told us all about the history of the island and pointed out landmarks. He gave us a great suggestion on a restaurant (Cuties)! The actual excursion was amazing! My 12-year old loved swimming with the sting rays!

What an amazing experience! It’s a must if you’re in Antigua. Request Jerome as your driver. He was awesome, Giving us local information on our way to stingray island and telling us what to expect and what to do when out with the stingrays. They did go over all details at stingray island. But it was great to hear it twice. Jerome was very prompt with time and extremely polite and informative 10 out of 10.

Stingray experience is a must. You will not be disappointed. We got 2 tours in one with Jerome as our driver. We got the history and the local news while on our way to the boat. He was the best tour guide I've ever had. Ask for Jerome! And the stingrays were great too.

We absolutely loved the Stingray experience. Such a privilege to be up close & personal with these amazing creatures. Was a bit nervous but you are given a safety briefing and all the staff are really knowledgeable, helpful & friendly. A huge thanks to our tour guide Andrew, who collected us, took us to Stingray City, kept an eye out for us during the experience and took us back to our resort - he was an absolute star :)
