Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum

Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum build in 2007, is a new addition to vibrant, cultural and exciting Chinatown. Is it a monument? Why build this Buddhist Temple right in the heart of Chinatown, on prime land with much older temple and mosque such as Sri Mariamman Hindu Temple and Jamae Mosque. Buddhist temples and all Chinese Temples have only one entrance, why it is that BTRTM has two entrances and two main shrines.

Two hours of exploration, full of stories and culture with James as our tour guide. We saw and explored the traditional and new development of Chinatown, such as Chinese and Indian temples, mosque, chamber suite, Ann Siang Hill Park, Telok Ayer Green, Thian Hock Keng, Jinrikisha Station and Chinese Methodist Church..... We have a very enriching experience at the Harmony in Diversity Gallery and Singapore City Gallery. We strongly recommend James Chan to guide and tell you historical & fascinating stories of Chinatown Singapore. Must try to enjoy the nice foods at Maxwell & Amoy Street Food Centre.
