I will lead you on a fascinating journey through the Hradčany district, beginning at the elegant Hradčany Square, surrounded by historic Baroque architecture. You'll pass the iconic Prague Castle complex and the stunning Loreto pilgrimage site.
At the Strahov Monastery, skip-the-line access allows you to immerse yourself in the world-famous Strahov Library,
home to the Theological and Philosophical Halls, renowned for their frescoed ceilings and ornate woodwork, collection of manuscripts and Bibles.
We will also visit to the Strahov Gallery, one of the oldest and most valuable monastery collections in Central Europe.
Then, step into the Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady, a Baroque masterpiece with frescoes.

It's a historic and elegant square, often filled with tourists and events. At Hradčanské náměstí (Hradčany Square) in Prague, you can see: Panoramic views – over Mala Strana and Prague’s rooftops. Entrance to Prague Castle – the main gate with guards and ceremonial changing of the guard. Archbishop’s Palace – a beautiful Baroque palace. Schwarzenberg Palace – with sgraffito decoration, now part of the National Gallery. Salm Palace – another art museum. Toskánský Palace (Tuscan Palace) – a grand Baroque building.
Loreta Praha
Loreta Square (Loretánské náměstí) in Prague is a charming historic square in the Hradčany district. Highlights include: Loreta Shrine – a Baroque pilgrimage site with a beautiful façade, carillon bells, and the Santa Casa. Černín Palace – the largest Baroque palace in Prague, now the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Capuchin Monastery – a quiet religious site next to the Loreta. Historic atmosphere – peaceful setting with cobblestones, old houses, and views toward Prague Castle. It’s a serene spot with religious, architectural, and historical significance.

5.00If you like history, art and more, this tour is for you!!! My guide, Valentyna was phenomenal. The meet up was easy; the tour itself was more than I expected I learned so much. You will see surrounding areas, learn about some architecture, historical landmark and they you will hit the library to experience some unique private collections, see the two libraries and finish with some beautiful artwork. I cannot say enough wonderful things about my guide and the tour and she was even gracious enough to help by going part way back on the public transit with me so I could get back to my hotel.
