Alvaro was an excellent guide! He had so much enthusiasm throughout the whole tour. And you really get your money's worth. The tour was 2.5 hours with ten stops, and it felt completely filled with good food, lots of sights, and great conversation. Highly recommend. And come hungry!

Legaxy was an amazing tour guide. He is so passionate about the history & providing education. His retention checks were fun & light hearted. I would absolutely recommend. My favorites were the shrimp cocktail(I’m usually a ceviche girlie but this was good), pan de bono(of course) & the coffee lemonade. Thank you Legacy & team for this wonderful experience 🧡

Had an excellent food tour today, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the city who's interested in the local flavors and getting to know a bit more about Cartagena's food culture. Our guide, Alvero (aka David), was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He took us through safe routes and was able to answer questions about the places we were going and make suggestions about places we hadn't visited (e.g., I wanted to find a place where I could get chocolate covered coffee beans; and other members of my group wanted to know about salsa dance spots and coffee places). They were able to accommodate my group of eight without any issues, and we had a private tour. I really enjoyed all of the food on the tour, which ran the gamut from seafood, cheese, beer, candy, coffee, pastries, and fruit. The food came in comfortable portion sizes that meant we were able to sample everything without feeling overly stuffed by the end of the approximately 2.5/3 hour tour. Still, I strongly recommend not having a meal a good 2 hours beforehand, if not longer; come hungry and you'll leave happy.

This was such a great experience! We tried SO many different things, and I got full pretty early on lol. I love that it also involved trying different drinks also. I am vegetarian, and there were only 2 stop that had non-vegetarian things to try, but at each they found me a substitute, and both were great! I think I am addicted to fried plantains now, and wish I could find them back home! Alvaro David was very enthusiastic about taking us around and having us try the foods of Colombia. I definitely recommend this trip to anybody visiting Cartagena!

We were lucky enough to have Alvaro David as our tour guide and he was amazing! The food was great and we learned a ton about Cartagena. We learned about how the food we were eating was connected to other cultures in the Caribbean, other South American countries, as well as Africa and Europe! I highly recommend this tour to anyone hoping to try Colombian street food but wants to avoid potentially getting sick. He let us know what to avoid when looking for street food, and we also got to try different flavors of coffee! After the tour, Alvaro even also helped us get a new sim card! Seriously, such a kind and helpful person! 10/10
