5.00We had the most wonderful food tour with Magda. She was a perfect ambassador of Cretan hospitality, history and culture. She took us to places in Heraklion we may no have gone on our own, and the food…first, I’ve never eaten so much on a food tour and we usually take one in a every major city we visit. Secondly, Magda took us to places that had unique offerings that only a local would know. One of the restaurants served us lamb, sheep and pork raised from the owner’s farm in the mountains. And I loved that she encouraged us to eat with our hands. We were immersed into the Cretan culture for a day. Loved it!

5.00What an incredible experience with Magda! She is our new best friend! Magda truly made us feel truly special and provided us with the great history of Crete, as well as a truly amazing food experience. She is a tremendous host who wants to provide you the best culinary experience Crete has to offer. Our last stop, a sit down lunch at an amazing restaurant on the water included beer and wine, numerous appetizers to enjoy, and when we thought that was it, out came the entrees of fresh sea bass and mussels, capped off with amazing desserts. One of the best food tours we have ever experienced, and one of the highlights of our cruise through the Greek Isles! Book with Magda! You will not regret the experience

5.00I would give this food tour 10 stars if I could. Magda is an excellent guide. We had so much food! All of the food was thoughtful and local to Crete. I love food history and Magda has a lot of insight on the history of Crete, culture and food traditions. We were with another couple so the size of our group was perfect and we got to make new friends.

5.00This was a fantastic experience. Magda is so vibrant and energetic and gave us a wonderful evening seeing the sights of Heraklion and tasting lots of delicious food and wine! It was great to see local spots of Crete and Magda provided lots of information about the tow . She also helped us plan our itinerary for the next day with recommendations on activities and wineries. I definitely recommend doing this tour.

5.00We had an amazing food tour with Magda! She told us some history about each place we visited along with fun facts that kept our attention. The food stops were delicious and not places we would have known about. There was a great variety of sweet and savory. Magda had great energy that kept us engaged the whole time. My only regret was eating breakfast before the tour. I recommend going on an empty stomach!
