The organ concert was beautiful. Just too expensive, you could check the entry ticket time and be there for free essentially rather than $180 CAD

Outstanding performance 👏 The organist was so personable, knowledgeable and his music ability is unbelievable. What a performance. Limited number of seats. The setting in the Basilica is serene.

Amazing opportunity! A lovely concert and behind-the-scenes explanation from the very kind organist. The concert was incredible: spell binding and moving. Afterward we climbed to the top for a fantastic view.

We arrived at the church at about 6:00pm after enduring a 6 hour bus tour of Budapest. We located the ticket office on the street adjacent to the church and tried to exchange our Tripadvisor vouchers for tickets only to discover that the organ concert was at 10:00am. As far as I could tell this bit of critical information was no where to be found on the voucher. The ladies at the ticket office were gracious enough to exchange our voucher for tickets to visit the church and to see the surrounding area on the overlook near the top of the church dome. As an unexpected bonus they gave us free tickets for a full hour-long organ concert the following night, which was fantastic and much better than the 15 minute presentation we paid for. We were very happy and much appreciated their generosity.

The organist was friendly, informative and an incredible musician. He explained the function and workings of the organ and took questions and comments. The concert was fabulous with many styles and eras of organ music, even playing Bach's Toccata in D minor. This was a top experience of our European trip.

The organ concert was more than I could have ever expected! The organist told us about the instrument then gave a short concert. This is a must do while in Budapest.

I only gave it a 1 because 0 is not an option. We bought two tickets for an organ concert in the basilica, but as is true for so many experiences on Trip Advisor, it was shockingly difficult to manage (the ‘tickets’ on our phones were not tickets, so we had to walk to a building a block south of the basilica to have our tickets-that-were-not-tickets transformed into tickets). When we delivered our ticket-tickets to the guy at the basilica entrance (standing next to a ‘Christmas Concert’ sign), he let us in and directed us to a four-person elevator, which transported us to an upper floor, where there was long line. But this was not a concert: this was just a view of the city from the top of the basilica! There was no concert—organ or otherwise—there was just a janky stairway to the top of the basilica.
