We offer Champagne Balloon Flights over the beautiful city of York from April – October each year.

Our balloons are all multi coloured and look amazing both form the ground, from the air and in your pictures!

What To Expect

York

You will see birds eye views of York, it's historical landmarks and surrounding countryside as your drift overhead. Views that are guaranteed to take your breath away! THE ITINARY - You will meet on site at the time specified on your booking. - It takes approximately 45 minutes to set up the balloon, you will be invited to help the pilot and crew with this, it's a lot of fun! - Your pilot will give you a 15 minute safety briefing before take off. - You will then watch York pass by below as your drift overhead in our beautiful balloon. - You flight will last approximately 45 minutes - 1 hour before a gentle landing in the Yorkshire countryside. - Once landed you will be invited to help the pilot and crew pack the balloon away. - We then celebrate your balloon flight with a Champagne Toast (Soft drinks also available) - We say our goodbyes as the minibus arrives to provide you with travel back to the starting point. The whole experience will last anywhere between 3 - 4 hours.

I didn’t know what to expect but the experience was such good fun from start to finish. I would say to anyone get booked up. The company are thorough, safe and have a terrific track record. Everyone in the group really enjoyed the morning flight. My trip was a 70th birthday gift - thank you Amy and Adam. The sheer beauty of our countryside was so lovely. The neat fields and animals from cattle, sheep and horses to deer gave us a new appreciation of our agricultural heritage. Everything was perfect. Thank you to owner Oliver and to Chris - a great team

This was a 70th birthday present and I was really looking forward to it although my husband was quite nervous beforehand! It surpassed our expectations and we both really enjoyed it and felt very safe throughout the flight and the landings. We definitely recommend a balloon flight with this friendly, efficient company.

This was a birthday present from my kids and it proved to be the best ever. We were involved with getting the balloon ready for our flight, after first being given simple, but comprehensive instruction on what needed doing. This part of the trip gives a great insight into how big the balloon envelope actually is. The take off was perfect, hardly noticing that we had left the ground. Information and chat throughout the flight was top notch and the main part, Ollie made it fun too. It's ok doing these experiences, but it has to be fun doing it, and our flight ticked all the boxes. Views over the city were fantastic and we went where the slight breeze took us. My daughter lives close by and watched us go overhead and took photos of us from her garden. Landing was all taken care of safely too. Then we were all involved in packing the balloon away before our glass of champagne, and it was barely 9 o'clock in the morning. Thank you to this small family run business for making this a perfect experience.

Me and my partner Went on an early morning balloon flight and had an amazing time! The team were friendly and made us feel very safe whilst on the balloon. They made the setting up and closing down of the activity enjoyable and interactive. Would highly recommend and will be returning!

Really good experience. Good to work within teams putting up and bringing down the balloon, good views of York. Really good to get the bonus of a certificate and a couple of free drinks at the end of the flight. Really good customer service.

On Saturday morning we had the pleasure of going on a hot air balloon ride from York Racecourse for my sister’s 40th birthday - it was truly an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, everything was exceptionally well-organised and professional. Ollie & Rib were friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel completely safe and at ease. We had an amazing time with yorkshire balloon flights instructions were precise and clear and we helped set up as well as packing up which made the experience more fun, and enjoyable with the banter of fellow passengers followed by champagne and laughter. Ground team were great and pilot knowledgeable. Totally recommend this ballooning company.

A fabulous experience. The views over York speak for themselves of course, but our pilot Olly and his ground crew Chris were excellent, great hosts and top guys, very interesting and informative about the whole business of ballooning. There's work to do when unpacking and inflating the balloon and packing it away again, but that just added to the whole experience. And the smoothest landing of any flight ever! Thoroughly recommended.
