What To Expect
Geyser del Tatio
Arriving at the Tatio geothermal field, located at more than 4,200 m.a.s.l., travelers will be greeted by an overwhelming landscape of plumes of steam emerging from the earth at dawn. Our bilingual guide will walk you through the different zones of active geysers, explaining the geothermal phenomena that occur in this unique zone of the planet. There will also be time to enjoy a hot breakfast outdoors, surrounded by the impressive Andes mountain range.
Vado del Rio Putana
During the return journey from the Geysers of the Tatio, we will make a short stop at the Vado del Río Putana, a scenic site where travelers can observe flamingos, Andean ducks and other highland birds in their natural habitat, with the imposing Putana volcano as a backdrop. It is a perfect time to take pictures and appreciate the biodiversity of the Chilean highlands.

5.00From very early on you feel the good energy and sympathy of Naghel, our guide and also of the driver. Don't miss wearing VERY warm clothes, as 8° is very cold arriving at the Geysers. The views of the landscapes and fauna is amazing. Highly recommended the experience.
