Enjoy pickup from your Victoria Falls hotels then head to the waterfront of the vibrant Zambezi River where your vessel for the evening awaits. The tour begins with a friendly greeting from the staff and a welcome drink as well as freshly prepared canapés.
The cruise then sets sails upstream along the mighty Zambezi River, the fourth-longest river in Africa. From the boat, admire the array of wildlife that flourishes along the river and watch out for elephants bathing on the riverbanks, crocodiles lazing on the water, and hippos submerging here and there.
As the sun begins to set, watch as the surrounding landscape is transformed by the colors of the sky, and soak up the incredible atmosphere of the river. Next, head back towards the imposing Victoria Falls and see its spray in the distance. After 2 hours of sailing and an unforgettable sunset, arrive back at the waterfront for transfer to your hotel.

What To Expect
The Zambezi Sunset cruise is a superb way to relax and enjoy the spectacular beauty of the Zambezi River. There are great photo opportunities against often-spectacular African sunsets. Flocks of birds skim the waterline as the sun sets behind the African skyline. Clients may have the opportunity to see a variety of game; including hippo, crocodile, and elephant as well as enjoy the many different bird species. The Sunset Cruise is very popular and includes finger snacks, beer, wine, local spirits and soft drinks.

5.00While staying at 'The Palm River' hotel located on the banks of the Zambezi River, we took a 2 hour long sunset Ra-ikane River Cruise from the jetty located right in front of the hotel. It was actually a luxury boat safari on the Zambezi River offering the opportunity of sighting hippos, crocodiles and sometimes even the elephants along with diverse birdlife. Though we have found whale watching at innumerable places including Maui (Hawaii), Ilulissat (Greenland) etc. and have thoroughly enjoyed it in several countries and oceans but watching hippos walking, swimming, playing and having fun in the Zambezi River and that too in such large numbers was a unique African experience. It was an outstanding and a not to be missed activity as you will not be finding a better hippo-watching opportunity anywhere and that too from so close.

4.00There was a bit of confusion with the allotted tour operator on picking us up at the hotel. Fortunately we did manage to sort the problem out. The cruise boat Amazing Grace had already begun their cruise but kindly came back for us. Once on the cruise it was amazing...so pleased that my daughter and I got to experience this incredible tour. If in Victoria Falls a must to do.

5.00Lovely experience and very well paid out and organised. The hosts on the boat were very good and funny and made us laugh as well as being gracious hosts. The ride itself was perfect, great wildlife to see and the sunset was stunning.

5.00Amazing experience. We were a family of 5 with 3 children. We had an entire boat for ourselves. Great explanations and driving from our pilot. Stunning beverages and snacks during the cruise. We saw crocodiles, hippos, elephants, monkeys, a giraffe and a lot of birds. Incredible!!

5.00Absolutely beautiful experience!!! Would highly recommend. The captain was very friendly and attentive, and talked to us the whole journey, even better he stopped many times for us to have a nice view of the animals. The meal provided was delicious too and there was a wide drink variety with unlimited refills included. Everything was just wonderful including the affordable price and such a delightful day with good pictures and staff. Most definitely would book again !!
