Learn the basics of kayaking while enjoying an evening 75 minute guided kayak excursion on the Rehoboth Bay. Paddle along the shallow waterways while birds soar above. Look for Osprey, Great Blue Heron, Green Heron and Bald Eagles that frequent the area. Paddle next to Thompson Island, where ancient burial grounds are protected by the state park. Soak up the evening sun and feel the breeze on your skin as you paddle along on this excursion designed for beginners or recreational experiences. Sunset excursions tend to be cooler than daytime excursions in the summer.

We booked the last sunset tour of the season and it didn't disappoint! Our guide, Lexi, was knowledgeable of not just the marshlands and coastline, she was a joy just to have a conversation with. We had perfect weather and the sunset was perfect. We would highly recommend these tours to beginners to expert kayakers!

Such a fun time on the bay. Was a bit windy the evening we went but we were able to make it out to Thompson Island for some calmer water and saw the resident eagle!! Jeremy is a great guide and Janis very nice and easy to deal with.

The kayaks are new and sleek, and safety protocols are well followed. Reservations by phone are easy, and the operation runs very smoothly. The University of Delaware Environmental Science major Joshua Pfender who led our group of 8 was tremendously knowledgeable about both the history and ecosystems of Rehoboth Bay. We searched for an eagle, saw a huge osprey's nest, and learned about the Native American ancient burial ground on the island.

We had a great experience kayaking the bay with the sunset tour. The Ibis kept flying in formation overhead and the Osprey showed up a few times. Beautiful evening and our guide made everyone feel welcome - young and old alike! Would recommend it for novice kayakers as a really good first time experience. Fun to see Dewey from the water side for once! thanks!

We picked the perfect day! Kayaking while the sun setting was beautiful. The water looked like glass while paddling. The little channels they take you through with all the mussels were awesome!

Guide was great (Josh) - it was my first time kayaking and he gave clear instructions and didn’t rush the trip. The bay is scenic and we did see some of the wildlife along the shoreline.
