Shirley Heights is a restored military lookout and gun battery. The Lookout is a high point (about 490 ft.) that affords a superb view of English and Falmouth Harbours, the best view in Antigua. In this fantastic place every Thursday and Sunday at sunset you will have the opportunity to attend 2 typical Caribbean concerts: the first of calypso music and the second of mixed songs interpreted in a reggae key. At the Shirley Heights bar you can taste the best cocktails in all of Antigua, including the Rum Punch. The photo you can take at sunset will be an indelible memory of your holiday and this day.

Impossible to get food and drinks or see the sunset

2.00We went on this tour between Christmas and New Years. Do not recommend going at this time of the year. It was shoulder to people and cars coming and going on a one lane road. We got there. Someone in our group forged ahead and emailed pictures of the sunset to us. The sunset was pretty but the crowds were not worth it. We spent about 150 and got transportation and 2 drinks. Forget about food. The lines for drinks were over an hour long. Do not recommend for anyone who may have mobility challenges. It was not our tour guides fault the whole experience was just a total train wreck.

5.00This is a must-do when visiting Antigua. It's such a fun night with a steel band and live music, great food and drinks and a party vibe. It's very busy so the queues for the food and drinks are long. There are street vendors selling souvenirs and toilets on-site although don't get scammed into paying a tip to the toilet attendant as all she does is sit on the wall! It's the best night out in the Carribean!

5.00Our driver Phoenix was amazing! Friendly, funny and accodating. Shes the best, cannot rave about her enough. Only wish was they picked up later from shirley heights as the festivities end at 930pm and pickup is 730pm.

5.00Do yourself a favor and request Phoenix as your driver. She is amazing, funny and a true ambassador for Antigua. We learned more from her about the history and culture of this lovely island she calls home. This excursion is a Wonderful way to spend time with the beautiful people of Antigua - having a delicious meal, conversation with them, listening to music and oh yeah - watch the sunset. It was a magical setting for an ending of a beautiful day! Wear comfortable shoes as there is some slanted walking/maneuvering through the crowd.

5.00We had a very memorable experience to Shirley Heights. Our guide, Andrew, was welcoming, kind, and funny. He shared with us a lot of knowledge about the country during the travel. Everything was amazing and I will be coming back again.

5.00We did this on a Sunday night. We used a taxi to get us there (4 of us) via Island Flava (our driver was brilliant but I’ve forgotten his name!!) The driver waited for us to finish our evening, no pressure on when to return and so we made the most of the time there. We had been there during the day on a previous tour so knew what to expect in terms of layout. Fortunately, we got there before sunset so got the obligatory photos (plenty of people around to help take a group one too) and were easily able to grab some drinks and later, some food. As for the entertainment; the steel band is brilliant – great music, vibes and fun. Following them was live music which varied from a band, male singer, female singer etc and they brought some great energy to the evening that was clearly enjoyed by all. Overall, it was a fun and safe environment. Reasonably busy but not too packed (the joys of lower season September). Cost of food and drink wasn’t too bad and the queues flowed fairly swiftly. A definite must when visiting Antigua I would say – stay as long or as little as you want.

5.00We chose this experience to attend a different party and of course admire a beautiful sunset! The guys from Antigua call Italy picked us up at the resort took us to the party and brought us back to the resort right after! We had a great time, the view was beautiful and the party super eventful!
