Beach Traffic at high volume times both directions can add over 1 hour to normal drive time. We can not hold the boat for you. No refunds for no show. We will depart on time.

Gratutity NOT included in price of admission. Charter Industry Standard Gratuity for exceptional service is 15-20% of base rate.

This is a chartered sailboat excursion. We cannot guarantee perfect weather, cloudless sunsets, other guests behavior, or your general happiness. Your Captain makes all weather related decisions the day of the sail and takes your safety very seriously.

Children 6 years old and younger are required to wear a PFD. We have vest style PFD's available.

Not recommended for intoxicated guests or guests who plan on getting intoxicated.

We carry a standard first aid kit as required by USCG.

NO drugs allowed

What To Expect

You'll be enjoying the sites and sounds of motoring out of Matanzas Pass from Salty Sam's Marina until we exit the channel in the Gulf of Mexico and raise our sails. You'll then sit back and relax as we search for wildlife, listen to tropical music, and let our sails kiss the sun. You'll arrive back at Salty Sam's Marina right as day turns to night approximately 30 minutes after sunset.

My wife and I were only ones on this day. We had a great time. Capt. Dan and Capt. Dianne still took us out and gave us the full wonderful experience. They were super nice and made sure we had fun. We loved it and highly recommend. Very reasonable rates for a 2 1/2 hr trip. They made us feel welcome and we had a great time, very relaxing experience.

Had an excellent sunset cruise with Dan and Dianne. Weather was excellent and sun going down and beyond set up some beautiful colors. This is not the first time or the last for us to go out and sail in the golf on Orions child. Not only a sunset cruise but lots of dolphins to view. Thanks!

We absolutely loved the sunset cruise. Dan and Dianne are fabulous hosts who do everything to make your experience the best. They are super nice and fun to talk to. Being on a 38’ sailboat with a max of 6 passengers cannot be beat. Lucky for us, we were the only 2 that day 😊. We highly recommend!!
