Lake Vouliagmeni
The lake is near the sea at the southern end of Ymittos. It is contained within an elliptical cavity 260 meters long and 145 meters wide. A subterranean tunnel with numerous galleries at its end connects to the Aegean Sea.

5.00We had such a wonderful experience with Nasos on this trip to Sounio. He picked us up promptly at our place in Athens in the evening and we got to embark on a sunset tour of the Temple of Poseidon. We had a large group with four kids ages 4-13 and this was the perfect trip for us. We got to see the coast and stopped at a couple beautiful lookout points and then the main event, the Temple. Nasos was so knowledgable and fun. We all loved spending the evening with him. We ended the night by grabbing a fantastic dinner on the way home at the perfect restaurant. A real local spot with amazing food and fish. Highly recommend this tour!

5.00The Sunset Sounio Private Tour was absolutely breathtaking, and having Nassos as my driver made the experience even more special. He was professional, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable, sharing insights along the way that enriched the entire journey. The drive along the coastline was stunning, with gorgeous views of the sea that only got better as the sun began to set. Nassos made sure I had the best spots to take in the scenery, and the view of the Temple of Poseidon at sunset was unforgettable. His kindness and genuine care for my experience turned the evening into the perfect blend of relaxation and discovery. Nassos truly made this tour a highlight of my trip, and I can’t recommend him enough for anyone visiting Athens.

5.00What a wonderful sunset and historical site in Greece! We had originally not planned to venture out of Athens for this but after a suggestion by our guide Nasos - we decided to book! It was an enjoyable change to see the south side of Athens, the coast outside of the city, and a beautiful view at the Temple of Poseidon. We booked this experience specifically with Nasos because he is so informative, kind, and courteous. Would highly recommend!

5.00This was the Best tour for a quick day trip to see the other side of Athens near many beaches. Visiting the Temple of Poseidon was breathtaking!! Our tour guide Aristotle is so knowledgeable about his country and the many true stories never told, that we got the pleasure of hearing. The views were amazing!!! The company of Aristotle and our driver Aris we will never forget!! The restaurant he took us to was a hidden gem. The food was simply delicious and so fresh, true Greek cuisine!!! Please give yourself the opportunity to meet these fine gentlemen and take their tour!! You will NOT have a better guide or atmosphere to either start your trip or end your trip!!!! The private tour is the way to go!! You can ask as many questions as you want and they will create the most personalized tour for your group!! Our memories will be withbus forever! Aristotle and his team are simply one of a kind. We were treated as family and the connections we were so meaningful. A trip I personally will never forget.

5.00A wonderful trip made memorable by Nasos (our local chauffeur+guide) and Fotis..Nasos often went out of his way to show us ‘hidden gems’ or ’surprises’ that you cannot simply experience in a large tour or other organized tours. The sunset with Temple background is simply beautiful. While the crowd (and school kids) is unavoidable, May was the perfect time with good weather. Overall, if you want to really experience Greece in your own special way (and s[pend less that going through a tour reseller, this is THE way to do it..Go with Xenon!
