Our family loved the rugged road, amazing views, exclusive access to Navajo land and our guide, Larry. Our pre-teen boys actually said thank you to us for arranging the tour. It was fantastic.

Spiritual experience which the entire family loved. They went out of their way to make it truly special for my three kids (all under 10). Highly recommend.

I’m still at a loss for words when it comes to what I experienced out there. Monument Valley is so much larger than you’d think when you drive by it. Perspective in relation to the formations made all the difference when placing them to their name. I was in awe the entire time. Larry Team was our guide and he told excellent stories. He brought the Valley to life and I felt connected to the earth, even if only for a couple hours. The history of the Valley helped me appreciate what I was looking at even more than I already did. Words and pictures can’t do it justice, my friend. You have to see it for yourself! Booking a tour took the stress off of navigating the road as well which was lovely. I got to just sit back and enjoy the views.

Our tour was a full three hours and explored parts of Monument Valley that are not viewable on your own. Our guide, Travis, was amazing. We never felt rushed, he took us to the most photogenic spots and he shared his vast knowledge of MV and the Navajo people. It was a very spiritual experience we will never forget!

We had the best experience on the Sunset Tour with Tribal Tours. The pickup was easy as we were staying at The View Hotel. Our tour guide, Sandrea, was so knowledgeable and took time to not only show us all of the buttes and mesas, but also explained about a lot of the Navajo history and culture. One of my favorite stops was at the Hogan of the Yezzi family. The granddaughter of Susie Yezzi spoke with us about her experience growing up with her grandmother (who was a famous rug weaver), how they make the rugs and she also did a demonstration on how they women tie their hair on my 11year old daughter - who was thrilled. We got to go on so many back roads that are only accessible to the tour guides - the pictures and experience was unreal. Highly recommend going on a Tribal Tour - especially at sunset.

Travis made the sunset tour a truly memorable experience. He had a deep understanding of Navajo history and culture and a knack for storytelling. He is also a talented musician, and we were blessed with his songs at multiple points along the trip. This tour took us to sites not accessible to the general public - highly recommend taking this tour rather than just driving through Monument Valley on your own.
