Larry, our Navajo guide was the best. He gave us pertinent information of the sacred lands and knew the best photo spots. We fully enjoyed our time on the sunset excursion

We did a sunset tour with a Navajo tour guide name Bruce. He was very knowledgeable about the culture and geology of the area. Took us to backcountry. We’re only tour guides could go. We saw petroglyphs from Anasazi’s and heard stories handed down through generations. Bruce was amazing and even saying a Navajo song for us in one of the caves. I would highly recommend this sunset tour and I would ask for Bruce if possible.

Great opportunity to explore the Monument Valley and learn a little about the Dine. Beautiful sights and very friendly guide. Road is VERY rough - do not recommend for anyone with a bad back.

You can tour Monument Valley on your own, but it is unpaved roads and you need a high clearance vehicle. I 100% recommend taking the tour with a Navajo guide ~ we were very lucky to get experienced guide Jameson who was beyond delightful. He took us to all the perfect spots, gave us the stories, taught us about the history of the area and entertained us by playing his double flute. 10/10 recommend.
