We had an absolutely amazing day visiting Prison Island and Nakupenda Beach as a family. From the moment we got on the boat, everything felt safe, organized, and exciting. Our guide was kind, patient, and very knowledgeable, which made it even more enjoyable for our kids. Our first stop was Prison Island, where we learned about the island’s unique history and got to see and feed the giant tortoises such a highlight for our children! It was a great mix of education and fun. The guide made sure we understood the background of the island, which added depth to the experience. After that, we headed to Nakupenda Beach, and it truly felt like we had arrived in paradise. The sand was soft and white, the water crystal clear, and the view breathtaking. The crew set up a nice shaded area for us to relax and even served us a fresh seafood lunch right there on the sand – fish, lobster, squid, and fresh fruit. It was delicious and beautifully presented. The kids enjoyed swimming and snorkeling in the shallow water, and we felt completely at ease knowing the environment was family-friendly and not crowded. It was a wonderful way for us to enjoy nature together, away from noise and stress. This tour is perfect for families who want a mix of history, wildlife, beach fun, and quality time together. We made unforgettable memories, took beautiful photos, and had lots of laughs. Highly recommended for any family visiting Zanzibar!
