5.00We had an unforgettable experience with East Journey Travel, thanks to the amazing guidance of Mr. Faizal. His deep knowledge of Surabaya, combined with his warm and friendly personality, made our trip feel like traveling with a close friend. Everything ran smoothly, especially with the help of Mr. Kus, our skilled and courteous driver. Our 9-year-old daughter had a blast and was able to keep up easily with the tour – a real testament to how well-paced and thoughtful the itinerary was. One of the highlights was the Submarine Museum – what a fun and memorable stop! And let’s not forget the delicious food. Mr. Faizal even brought us to a charming kopitiam for a relaxing afternoon coffee break – such a nice touch! We felt taken care of every step of the way and highly recommend Mr. Faizal and East Journey Travel to anyone wanting a meaningful and enjoyable trip in Surabaya. We’d happily book with them again!

5.00Olivia was our guide and she was FABULOUS! We had no idea what there even was to do or see in Surabaya and she created a memorable day that we will cherish! She documented the day via pics for us and then sent them to us. We saw a puppet show in a Chinese temple, we went to an abandoned amusement park and saw wonderful statues and another temple, e went to a spice market, then for a delish traditional meal and ended with ice cream in a 100 year old place. She truly made the day special for us!!

5.00We had a great trip around Surabaya. We were picked up straight from the boat and our lovely guide and driver were excellent with very good English. We saw all the sights at a relaxed pace and had time to stop for lunch too. The day was really great & interesting. Lots of photos taken too so lots of great memories. Thank you for a lovely day. 😀

5.00This just happens to be one of the most amazing tour experiences we have ever had. We took a chance on a private tour, for the first time in our lives, and we were amazed by the experience! Our guide, Laila and our driver Bedjo were fantastic! To begin with, the vehicle we were in was clean and very comfortable and there was water waiting for us. Bedjo was an awesome driver and contributed to the tour by giving additional information about the stops we were at. I was happy to have had the opportunity to chat with Laila before our tour, in an effort to plan the itinerary. She was very open to coming up with the plan that would help us see everything we wanted to see in the fabulous city of Surabaya. We hit almost all of the highlights of Surabaya, and the tour even included the most delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Seeing the traditional market was one of the highlights for me, and when we went over to the Arab market, Laila helped me purchase some batik at a fantastic price! I would absolutely recommend east Journey travel and without a doubt, you would be lucky to get Laila and Bedjo as your guide and driver!

5.00Budi was an excellent guide, who not only displayed excellent English language skills, but also had incredible knowledge of his touristic area. We had specific requests for history related to the Second World War, and also knowledge of cultural aspects of the region. He not only covered these subjects well, but also taught us other facts previously unknown to us, He is personable, friendly, intelligent and knowledgeable, with a professional disposition and charismatic personality. We thoroughly recommend his services.
