This popular 2-hour beginners/intermediates surf lesson will give you an authentic taste of the world of surfing, important safety information about waves and the beach, and bragging rights about having conquered this cool and amazing sport!
Our activity has been in partnership with World Surf League since 2019. This experience is hand-picked and approved by the WSL (World Surf League), home of the world’s best surfers. Supporting pros and beginners alike, the WSL believes that the more time we spend in the water, the better the world will be.

What To Expect
If you've always wanted to try surfing but never have, there is perhaps no better setting than all famous beaches like Uluwatu, Padang Padang, Dreamland and Balangan. This popular 2-hour beginners/intermediate surf lesson will give you an authentic taste of the world of surfing, important safety information about waves and the beach, and bragging rights about having conquered this cool and amazing sport! We teach everything you will need to know! Basic theories like introducing surfing equipments, paddling, popping up, standing up, dropping into waves and riding across them. Plus, learning about surf etiquette, ocean safety and beach awareness will ensure you leave us confident and ready to surf! You will also be taught how to safely go in and out and catch your first wave. This personalized attention is the best way to build your surf knowledge and confidence while cultivating your surf technique. You may schedule surf lesson times from 6:00am to 4:30pm (Sunrise To Sunset) from Monday to Sunday. You will be given the update of tide chart as some surf spots are good and safe at high tide and other spots are good at low tide.

5.00I have taken lessons at many surf schools around the world, and Surfnesia is definitely the best I have ever experienced. Bintang and his instructors are very very good teachers. They are patient, very knowledgeable, and really care about you having the best time. I saw many improvements in my surfing in the week that I was working with them. They are really experts, and in Bali, with the crowds, you really need an expert teacher guiding you around. I will definitely be working with them again next time I come back

5.00We had an amazing experience with our instructor Bintang at Padang beach. He really makes you feel comfortable and safe in the water as he gives clear instructions. My friend and I were both able to surf and had so much fun learning from him!

5.00Bintang was an amazing instructor. This was my first time surfing and I am a bit clumsy so I was weary but I was able to ride in 4 waves due to Bintangs thorough instructions. He made me feel safe the whole time and it was a 10000/10 experience. I am sad that I will not be staying in uluwatu longer because I want to take more lessons from Bintang!

5.00My surfing lessons in Uluwatu were an absolute highlight! Bintang was amazing, and as a complete beginner, I felt so safe and supported in the water. He gave me the confidence to get up on the board and have fun. The experience was so great that I brought my sister back for lessons with him the following year! I can't recommend him enough. If you're thinking about learning to surf, this is the place to do it. I'll for sure be back for more lessons next time I'm in Uluwatu ;)"

I have already done a couple of lessons with him and the progress is remarkable considering I had never surfed before in my life. Beautiful experience, exceptional teacher. 5.00Just had an amazing surf lesson that totally exceeded my expectations! The instructor was super knowledgeable, patient, and made learning to surf an absolute blast. The waves were perfect for beginners, and by the end of the lesson, I was catching waves like a pro. Can't recommend this experience enough! Five stars all the way!
