  Honestly, JIN-ASAKUSA was one of the most fun dining experiences we've ever had. It was so much more than just amazing, high-quality sushi—it was an absolute blast! The energy in there is infectious, and the combination of the incredible chef and our fantastic translator made the whole night feel like a private show. We were laughing and engaged the entire time; the whole experience was just so lively and easy to follow. If you’re looking for a dinner that offers top-tier food and a truly unique, unforgettable night out filled with great laughs and good vibes, you absolutely have to check this place out. Seriously, 10/10 recommend!

  My girlfriend and I had an absolute blast at JIN-ASAKUSA! It was way more than just a meal; it was a truly unique and fun experience. The sushi was super high-quality and delicious. But the best part was the energy! The chef was amazing, and we had an incredible translator who kept everything lively, engaging, and easy to follow. We laughed the whole time. If you want fun, great food, and fantastic service, you have to go here!

As soon as I stepped inside the restaurant, I was greeted by a space themed on the Warring States period, and the extraordinary feeling of tasting authentic sushi amidst a line of armor, swords, and gold folding screens was amazing. I was able to compare the taste of tuna, caviar, Kobe beef, and other luxurious ingredients, and the food battle-like presentation was so exciting that I couldn't contain my excitement. There was also an experience corner where a sushi chef taught me how to make sushi directly, so I wasn't just eating, I also got to enjoy the fun of making sushi myself. The location also has a view of the Skytree, making it perfect for sightseeing. If you go with a foreign friend, it will be even more exciting. It was a memorable and luxurious time packed with "eating + experience + Japanese culture". I recommend it as a new standard for Asakusa sightseeing!

  It was a terrific experience! We took lots of videos and photos. We were entertained to the max, and we ate all the sushi that we made and whoever won a battle (trivia) got the sushi made by the Chef. We learned so much about sushi, its origin, Japan's different warrior battles and we had to help to win it. The staff at Jin Asakusa were so entertaining, we had so much fun with the interaction. We now have a different and more appreciation of what sushi, the authentic kind, tastes like. We gained knowledge of what's an imitation roe, or what type of tuna tastes like a million dollar bite :-). We definitely recommend this place and experience for those visiting Japan and the Asakusa place. The place is so colorful, and felt like you went back in time during Samurai era. We will definitely go back there and will bring more friends and family.   It was a fun packed 2 hours, with having a sushi-making race, to learning about the fish that sushi comes from, and taking many great photos with samurai gear, we had an amazing time. We got to try many different sushi and it was so close to Asakusa station, where they are so many good tourist sights to see.   As a sushi lover, I wanted to try to learn the real technique to make beautiful nigiri, so I found this restaurant and put myself to the test. The path was not only to learn how to make nigiri and eat them, but you also had to answer quizzes while tasting various types of ingredients competitively in order to become a Shōgun! The staff was fantastic, fortunately one of them was interpreting from Japanese to English, making it easy for me to ask questions to the chef who followed us. It was really an interesting and fun course, also because I won all the challenges becoming Shōgu 😎. Ps: the sink lever is super nice 🤩😂 Highly recommended, especially if you want to eat sushi in a more fun way than usual!!

Dressing up in a feudal lord's outfit was a fantastic touch! The sushi-making experience was both challenging and exciting, with games like guessing seafood and competing to make sushi. The opportunity to interact with the sushi chef and learn about sushi-making and their craft added a personal and authentic touch.   Came and experienced the sushi and entertainment, was pleasantly surprised with the service as it was very interactive and fun! It’s best enjoyed with a group of friends where you can challenge each others taste buds and aim to be the shogun with the most amount of wins The whole experience lasted 1 and a half hours and we left filling extremely full. Beautiful sushi presentation from the head chef and following his instructions, you could make your own sushi.
