A nice tour of the island

5.00We were escorted around the island by Liramento whose English was excellent as was his knowledge of the island. We went to quite a few different places and started with a short walking tour. There were 6 of us on the minibus which was a comfortable number. I do advise getting to the meeting point as soon as you can

4.00Elodie did a fine job with the group she had. The pace was a bit slow for my tastes, but there were lots of elderly and limited people from the ship, so it was understandable. The views from the top of Monteverde were wonderful, and I enjoyed seeing local people in their ordinary lives.

5.00Freddie was a wonderful guide. He was on time, friendly and it was very apparent that he loves his island. He spoke very good English and was happy to answer all our questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mindelo. We drove up to Green mountain, toured the city, went to the fish and produce market, visited several villages and beaches. Thanks Freddie!
