The Swartberg Pass can be bumpy at times (gravel road). We do our uttermost best to drive very carefully.

What To Expect
Swartberg Pass
We start in Oudtshoorn and drive through a beautiful agricultural area to the Swartberg Mountains. There, we will start our ascent on the Swartberg Mountain Pass and tell you about the interesting facts of the fauna, flora, the amazing Geology of the mountains and the history of the pass. We take enough time to enjoy the scenery, for photo-shoots and for some small walks on the pass for those who wish to stretch their legs.
Prince Albert
A short visit to the picturesque town Prince Albert with its beautiful Cape Dutch, Victorian and Karoo style houses.

5.00Roeland, his wife and daughter guarantee a fantastic tour through Zwartberg and the surrounding area. Their knowledge, their friendly manner and their willingness to answer all possible questions are of exceptional quality. At no point do you feel that you have to rush. The whole group enjoyed this beautiful tour through South African nature. This organisation is thoroughly professional and cares deeply about its participants. No rushing, lots of stops, coffee, snacks, a glass of muscat wine, everything is included. This is highly recommended for anyone who wants to get to know Zwartberg and the surrounding area.

5.00At first we planned to do the Swartberg Pass with our own car. Last minute we got the idea to do that in an organized way. So everything had to be arranged in the short term. They did a perfect job. There was good communication. Voice messages were even left. We enjoyed this day also thanks to our wonderful guide Sinead and have not regretted for a moment that we have engaged with them. Highly recommended.

5.00Superb tour that you must experience for yourself! Impressive mountains and rocks, with the beautiful stories of Roeland. Relaxed trip, stops are adjusted to the wishes of the guests. Includes coffee, delicious lunch and a shot on the mountain. They even thought of being able to build the ladies a toilet on the mountain. It might cost a bit more than your average tour, but it's definitely worth it.

5.00We set out with the charming South African guide Alistair and loved every minute of it. He shared his knowledge and passion about the environment and made sure that we really experienced nature. Alistair, Roeland and Lut are super friendly and very easily accessible via Whatsapp. Lunch at Prince Albert is also very tasty (you can choose from several dishes). Top day! This is a day you should not miss when you are in the area, nature is BEAUTIFUL!!

Nothing was too much trouble and he was very knowledgeable, and seemed to know the answers to all our endless questions. The route he took had the most beautiful views and he knew all the best places to stop. We would 100% recommend this tour.
