Pick up from your Hotel in Livingstone around 8.00 am. You will get a safety briefing before yo walk down the beautiful Batoka Gorge for water level views of the falls. Then, you'll get in big, inflatable rafts and paddle across the "boiling pot," to get out right underneath Victoria Falls. Your experienced guide will accompany you to the nearest cascade. The view from here is amazing and you'll have the opportunity to swim and relax in the rock pools right below the waterfalls, an unforgettable experience! You can visit the area (unguided) after swimming (entrance fee to the Falls is not included and needs to be paid at the gate). The guided portion of the tour lasts three hours. This trip is not as sold - we booked this as a relaxing afternoon rafting and swimming, however we spent 90% of the time rock scrambling down steep rocks with no footholds on a cliff edge, similar to via ferratas. Our group suffered falls, twisted knees, ankles, cuts, bruises and we are a group of sub30 year olds. About 60 seconds of rafting then more rock climbing over wet and mossy rocks until you get to the pool. No food provided even though activity is over lunchtime for 3+ hours. Scenery is unreal, very beautiful and a different angle to see the falls. Staff however were brilliant with helping as I spent most of it petrified of falling, they carried my helmet and oar and were lovely people. My husband loved this as very adventurous and risky. Please just be advised that this is a challenging activity, very physical and ruthless terrain.

It’s a fairly challenging descent to the raft and a good scramble to get to the swimming area but our group of 6 were the only ones there. Stunning setting to swim in! The Bundu team were great and very supportive, I would have struggled to make it without their help and patience. Only regret is we didn’t have a waterproof camera to take with us to record the experience

I did this trip on my own today as my husband was white water rafting the 21 rapids. I’m so glad I did this and felt proud and satisfied that I did quite a physical challenge, albeit not 21 rapids. I felt very spoilt with 3 guides to myself and they were all great. You need footwear with a very good grip as there is lots of clambering over big rocks. When you eventually get into the water to swim it is gorgeous and so refreshing. Great views of the boiling point and up to the bridge. Definitely recommend to people who would love to be in the water and are flexible and fit enough for a bit of a scramble over the rocks - thanks Guys 🙂

Do Not underestimate the hike both ways, it requiers more than an avarage level of fitness, the rocks are very difficult, however the AMAZING GUIDES encourage you & keep you safe 100% of the way, getting to the main attraction is sooooo rewarding.....i wouldnt do the hike again lol, wish there were cable carts. However, extremely satifying knowing you can overcome things you never imagined.

Took my 12 year old energetic daughter on this. Friendly, helpful, safety conscious staff. But the walk down the hill, over many many rocks to a boat, then helping pull/row the boat, then more walking over Cornish sized rocks, to get to the pool took a good hour or so each way. I don't think my 70 year old father could have managed, nor a small child. You swim under a (relatively) small waterfall, some distance from the main falls, but that was a cool experience. You're not allowed to take off the life-jacket which is a shame, but perhaps wise. I would recommend this, but would put Devil's Pool as the must-see around here.

Tried on rafting for the first time and was not disappointed. We only took a half day and swimming under the victoriafall. We were informed that we could take a full day if you regretted. Luckily it's the most fun on our trip so we took a whole day. Good staff who seemed to love their job. The bad thing was the back up when the rafingen was over but no stress up. We had a perfect day here.
