I loveeee Seafood. So, when I found out that Australia has one of the top 3 fish markets in the world 🌎 I had to visit it. The building is beautiful and the food, oh my. My tour guide, Jennifer, was super knowledgeable, nice, and easy to follow. She provided so much insight into the history, environmental conservation, and places to check out. I highly recommend this place and the tour guide. Seafood was so delicious 🤤

Guide was great, easy to understand, knowledgeable, aware of rain and people’s mobility. We had a bit of a hard time finding the meeting point and he called me and directed.

The tour with Sophie was great, highly recommend. However, it is really hard to find the start point. Staff in the market didn't know where the tours go from. We thought we found the right spot but turned out we were on the wrong floor. We saw people in fluro vests in the distance so hurried to catch up with them. There were three other people like us. The visitor centre isn't open yet, but I suggest they get a flag, or something similar, and tell people which floor they should go to.

When this tour came out I grabbed it. I'm the daughter of someone who started in this industry 70 years ago so witnessed all the fish markets in Sydney growing up. The tour was led by a guide with real life experience in the fishing game and that added an element to the event. They were brilliant, extremely professional and knowledgeable, the tour amazing and our fellow tour members thoroughly enjoyed the behind the scenes experience. It was quite a busy day at the venue but we bypassed the main area witnessed the auction area, seafood storage floor and seafood cooking school. Getting to location was simple getting there by light rail. I urge everyone, local and tourist alike to take one of the varied tours to see this magnificent building.
