This isn’t your standard history walk with dry facts and a monotone guide. The Bloody Interesting Rocks Walking Tour brings Sydney’s gritty beginnings to life with dramatic storytelling, dark humour, and hidden corners most tourists miss. Led by a professional guide and former TV director, you'll hear true tales of convicts, corruption, sly grog, scandal, and survival — all where it really happened.
You’ll also taste native flavours like wattleseed ANZAC cookies and lemon myrtle tea, and get the kind of commentary that turns a footpath into a stage. If you like your history raw, real, and wildly entertaining — this is the tour for you.

I’ve done two Bloody Interesting Tours so far and have another one (the Vivid tour) booked in a couple of weeks. I honestly can’t recommend them enough. Ed is an absolute wealth of knowledge. But more importantly, he makes the tours so bloody interesting. I’m really looking forward to the next one.

Great discovery tour of the hidden laneways and stories of Australia’s settlement birthplace - The Rocks. Easy pace. Bloody great tour. Love the pub finale.

This was hands down one of the best walking tours I’ve ever done! Far from the usual boring history lessons, this tour was packed with fascinating stories you won’t hear anywhere else. Our guide, Ed, was fantastic; funny, engaging, and a master storyteller who brought The Rocks to life in the most entertaining way. I don’t usually enjoy walking tours, but this one completely changed my mind. Ed’s humor and passion made the experience unforgettable, and his friendly nature made everyone in the group feel welcome. If you’re looking for a walking tour with a twist this is the one to book!
