Step aboard the Taco Tug, a restored 1980s U.S. Navy lifeboat, for one of the most unique boat tours in St. Thomas. This 4-hour small-group adventure leaves from Crown Bay Marina and combines iconic island stops, crystal-clear water, and laid-back Caribbean vibes — all without the crowds.
Perfect for families, couples, and adventure seekers, this tour blends swimming, snorkeling, beach time, and a stop at the Lime Out Floating Taco Bar.
Stop 1: Water Island
Relax at Honeymoon Beach, one of the USVI’s hidden gems. Swim or snorkel in calm turquoise water, lounge on soft white sand, or grab a cocktail at Dinghy’s Beach Bar. Snorkel gear is available for spotting turtles and rays along the shoreline.
Stop 2: Lime Out Floating Taco Bar
Next, cruise to Lime Out, an iconic floating taco bar accessible only by boat. Swim or float up, enjoy fresh tacos and drinks, and soak in the unbeatable island views. Noodles and floats are provided, and tacos can be delivered to the boat if preferred.

What To Expect

5.00I went with my husband and my parents. We had a great time! Eating at Lime Out was such a fun experience! We did the 2pm departure which put us right at happy hour and got bogo drinks. The Hunter's Passion was 10/10, one of the best drinks I've ever had. The tacos were delicious too! After lunch we rode over to a beach where we snorkeled and hung out.

5.00We were worried about booking this while on a cruise, but it was a quick, $9, 15 minute taxi ride from the port to Crown Bay Marina. My husband, myself and 9 ladies on a bachelorette party filled the boat. Wow, what a day! The beach felt almost private and the floating platform was a great touch for photo ops! Our Captain made the trip even more special, after 15 minutes on the boat everyone felt like family! Oh, and then there was Lime Out, such a fun and memorable experience.

5.00Best Viator tour I’ve ever done!!! Capt Mason was the best tour guide. Super informative & offered everyone drinks as soon as we were onboard (which are bottomless by the way and who doesn’t want beer at 9am. Of course also water or soft drink options). They provide all the equipment which is nice like snorkels & noodles, and he pointed out the best spots for turtles & so we got to swim with multiple turtles 🐢 There was adequate time at both locations and the margaritas & ceviche tacos were a 10/10 🌮 I highly recommend you do this tour if in the USVI! Other tours that we saw were so overcrowded and large groups, but this is an intimate group and the boat is spacious even if you had 12. Very informative, local guides who can give suggestions for what to do in the area and answer any of your questions. I came all the way from Australia to visit Lime Out & Honeymoon Bay and I truly think this is the best way to do it. It did not disappoint ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5.00The small group setting on the boat was exactly what I was looking for and made the trip feel more personal and relaxing. We snorkled and were lucky enough to see sea turtles. The Lime out was delicious and added a fun touch to the day. Overall,a cool experience. I recommend it.

5.00We had so much fun with Mason and Andrew! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Awesome atmosphere. Somehow our trip was reserved/charged twice and Mason didn't hesitate to get us a refund for the second trip, he is very accommodating. Will take this trip again next year!

5.00It was so much fun, the water was gorgeous. Our captain was laid back, nice and accommodating. The beach was amazing, and we were able to do some snorkeling, the captain had some gear for us to use! The floating taco bar was SO much fun too! Would highly recommend 10/10!

5.00Excellent trip all around. The tug boat and its captain cut through the sea with ease and the two destinations were so much fun! Would absolutely recommend. We saw sea turtles on the island and so many fish at the taco bar.
