You will receive an exclusive 'Mexico City Taco Cheat Sheet' that you can use for the rest of your trip to order tacos wherever you go. It includes descriptions of all the types of tacos you will find in Mexico City and key phrases you will need to experience Mexico City's amazing culinary heritage.

We will begin with an introduction to Paseo de la Reforma, the Cuauhtemoc neighborhood, and taco basics! Everyone will receive a 'Taco Cheat Sheet' with a detailed description of the tacos we will try.
Discover two of Mexico City's most classic, emblematic tacos: tacos al pastor and gringas. While we enjoy our tacos, we'll learn some important taco essentials, like how to choose toppings and how to try each salsa to decide which one goes with which taco. We will start filling out our taco scorecards to rank each of the tacos we'll try during the tour.

5.00This was the perfect taco tour! Tyler not only knew a tonne about tacos but also about Mexico and Mexico City history. The tour went by so fast and we left so so so full. If this is your first time to Mexico City, I highly recommend doing this tour at the start of your trip so you have all the information you need to order and enjoy tacos for the rest of your vacation. Don’t forget to come hungry!!

5.00The perfect taco tour! Tyler was an awesome tour guide who not only knew a tonne about tacos but also a lot about Mexico and Mexico City history. The tour went by so fast and we left so so so full. If it’s your first time in Mexico City I would highly recommend doing this tour on the start of your trip so that you have all of the information you need to order tacos for the rest of your vacation. Don’t forget to come hungry!!

His knowledge of tacos and Mexico City history are really fantastic. He tailored the experience to us which was really appreciated. It was fun to rate the tacos at the end and we left full and super happy with the experience

He really tailored the experience to what we wanted which was great. Very local spots and every taco was delicious. We got to rate each one which was fun. This experience definitely helped to get to know Mexico City better.

5.00Tyler was an amazing guide his passion not only for local tacos but his neighborhood and Mexico City in general is apparent! There are more than enough stops so you don't feel as if you have eaten too much. His communication prior to meeting was excellent and it was a pleasure to have spent the evening roaming the local taco scene!

5.00Tyler’s deep knowledge of the area, its food culture and history is unparalleled! His love for Mexico City (and the very best tacos) makes this tour a must. We tried all kinds of tacos I never would have been able to find or order properly on my own, including the most amazing birria, cochinita and pastor “gringo.” We got the know the area like locals, and he has all sorts of great recommendations that made our entire trip excellent long after the taco tour.

5.00Tyler is incredibly knowledgeable and I learned more than I ever would have imagined. Just as important the tacos were incredible, and I now have a much deeper understanding of both tacos and the Mexican history and tradition surrounding them. Apparently Duo Lipa may have taken this tour in disguise, which was not confirmed by the host. Either way, it's a celebrity worthy tour. You can do Mexico CIty without this tour -- but that would be a mistake and you will regret it!

5.00I enjoyed a wonderful Tacos 101 Mexico City Taco tour. The guide Tyler was absolutely amazing with his extensive knowledge about the taco experience in Mexico City. The spices, preparation and assembling of tacos. We experienced a minimum of 7 types of taco. Tyler explained the ingredients in all of the salas and accoutrements for the tacos. It was fun rating the tacos with My Taco Scorecard. My favorite was a taco birria. Tyler Mexico City history was astounding as well. I learned about the Aztec emperor, Cuauhtémoc and the history of Padres de la Reforma. I would highly recommend the Tacos 101 Mexico City Taco Experience with Tyler.
