In spite of the cloud covering and frequent showers of rain, the guide and driver presented an interesting and unhurried experience. Interesting information and personal reflections, an array of fresh fruits at lunch time prepared as we ate, the good humour of both guide and driver made for the good vibe of our day. We are glad we travelled with this provider to see this part of Tahiti Nui.

Rai Nui is a great guide, very knowledgeable. His tour was well-organized. He is a great driver, some parts if this tour are really hard to navigate and he did a great job. He jokes around, he tells great folklore and cultural heritage stories, and he is friendly. We saw some fantastic landscapes and went right into the jungle heart of the island. I highly recommend his tour.

We were looking for a true immersion in Tahiti... and that is exactly what we got. Much more than just a simple tour of the island, this day allowed us to discover Tahiti through the stories, culture, and passion of people who deeply love their island. Rainui and Tamatea were incredible from start to finish: a lot of humor, ultra-positive energy, and above all, a genuine desire to share their culture. Throughout the day, they told us about Polynesian traditions, local legends, ancestral beliefs, and many anecdotes about Tahitian life. The day was also very authentic and adventurous: spectacular roads between jungle and volcanic cliffs, refreshing swimming in a river amidst dense tropical vegetation, discovering the mana... not to mention the delicious homemade fruit platter prepared for us 🤤 Special mention to the mangoes, probably the best of the trip 🥭😅 We particularly appreciated that nothing seemed 'scripted' or touristy in the negative sense of the term. There was a true passion and a lot of generosity in their way of introducing Tahiti to us. A warm, human, and memorable experience that we recommend 100% to anyone wanting to discover a more authentic and vibrant Tahiti.

If you wish to spend an extraordinary day visiting the interior of the island, then look no further, travel with Rainui and his driver. A visit filled with the spirit of Polynesia, informative, friendly, and respectful of nature and the elements. Rainui shares his immense love for his country, and our excellent driver safely guided us throughout the journey. Moreover, he is very pleasant company. Rainui brings all his enthusiasm and freshness as a young entrepreneur to make this day an experience apart from the usual tours. We will carry you in our hearts. And above all, do not change anything; you are both perfect!!! Coco

Extremely disappointed with this day. First of all, we were not informed that the road was closed until June and that we would not be able to take the tour. We took the tour with another guide and not the owner. By the way, the guide was very good, which is why I am not giving just one star. We encountered the owner during the meal break, and right away he looked down on us for no apparent reason, telling us that we should not be disrespectful? At that point, we wondered. I replied that we had not disrespected anyone, and then we turned our backs and went to eat alone to be at peace. Moreover, at 230 euros for the day, it seems to me that they could at least offer fresh water; it doesn't cost that much. Finally, I think that 8 hours in a 4x4 is far too long. Personally, I do not recommend it at all.

We were very disappointed by this 4x4 outing. The landscape and the excursion had everything to be enjoyable, but the guide's attitude completely ruined the experience. We were shocked by his aggressive behavior and the way he spoke to the participants. On several occasions, he was moralizing and inappropriate, with off-topic remarks that clearly made everyone uncomfortable. Fortunately, the driver of our 4X4 was available to answer our questions with kindness and good humor; a big thank you to him! For the rest, a tourist activity should remain friendly and respectful, which unfortunately was not the case here. It's a shame because the setting is beautiful, but we do not recommend this excursion until the welcome and professionalism are improved.

Best tour guide for sure. This was a beautiful tour and while we didn't get to see the last part because of landslides taking out the road, our tour guide took extra time and told us great stories and history. He stopped at lots of interesting places and took the time to answer all of our questions. It is marketed as a bumpy ride and that is accurate but it was so worth it all. Take this tour!
