10/10! Do the full day experience! Rainui is friendly, charismatic and very knowledgeable on the history of the island and Tahitian history and culture. Felt spiritually moved by the beauty of the nature and marae visit. Similar to home (NZ) but so far apart they a the same time .. Swimming in the river was the best. You can pop a phat manu off the rocks. This tour is Best part of my trip so far. Mauruuru Rainui ❤️

10/10 would recommend Rainui’s tours. He’s funny, charismatic and extremely knowledgeable on the islands native Tahitian history and culture. The bumpy but adventurous ride makes for some entertainment. Swimming in the local river and standing under a waterfall was my highlight. Visiting Marae was truly spiritually moving. Rainui deeply cares for his fellow people and the culture. A word of advice if you don’t like to hear TRUE history on colonisers and the impact they’ve made on native people then don’t come lol

Travel through the rain forest in search of waterfalls in the back of a pickup truck. This is in our top five excursions of all time! We were fortunate to be with other couples from Europe and the US. Rainui CHAN was an excellent guide with real life experience having lived in the mountains of Tahiti. If you want an authentic and fun-filled adventure while in Papeete, this is your tour! Thank you for an amazing day!

Wow what an incredible experience. My husband and I booked this tour as part of our honeymoon and we were so impressed. Rainui was an incredible, funny guide and extremely knowledgeable. Not only did we see incredible mountains and waterfalls, but learnt all about Tahiti and it's culture. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tahiti!

Going to Tahiti without doing this tour would be a mistake! We had a fantastic day in a stunning setting. The guide is friendly and gives a lot of information about its Maori culture. The trails are winding, in the mountains but Raini is a fantastic driver. I recommend without hesitation!

Rainui was the best guide that I have experienced. I learned more about Tahiti and its culture in the few hours I spent with him than reading any book could provide. He told stories in both French and English with humor and panache. A truly wonderful tour. One proviso: Beware the bumpy roads.

Superb crossing of the Papeno Valley with a friendly guide mixing information about the valley, the discovery of local flora and fauna without forgetting tales and legends. Always kind. Thanks a lot. Recommend
