3.00This would have been a great tour that allowed us to take our time however, the speed in which the guide went through things made it difficult for me to keep up and a few of the stops were actually closed or blocked off. I’m not sure there is a way to update the tour based on these things but it is what I recommend.

2.00Terrible. It forced you to stay only on THEIR path. I prefer guided tours that number the sites and let you skip around from number to number. Their map had us backtracking several times. We found it inconvenient to follow their path, but we couldn’t step out of line without it telling us to turn around or go back. Ugh!! We bailed because we were so disappointed it would not let us skip to the sites WE wanted to hear about!!

3.00When you walked off track it was difficult to pick up where you left off. I would suggest providing an actual itinerary of the tour so people can ask for directions if lost.

2.00I wanted to like this tour because I thought it a wonderful idea to involve kids in making it. However, I was very disappointed. It was difficult to hear much of the narrative because some of the kids' voices were not very clear. Many of the stops were simply there to encourage you to keep going (unnecessary with a map and a GPS locator). When the information about the buildings was provided, it did not go beyond the basic facts (year(s) built, remodeled, etc.) with very little historical or cultural context provided. In particular, Ponce de Leon was the first governor of PR but that hardly makes him a heroic figure.

5.00I really enjoyed the audio tour of Old San Juan! The only hiccup was that there was construction on a road that threw the tour off a bit. But I was able to put in the location where I was and started the tour back from there. I could stop and go as I pleased! Highly recommended.
