Those seeking an extra thrill can also opt for some exhilarating aerobatics! With our professional tandem pilots, you'll experience a safe and breath-taking adventure in the sky.

What To Expect

With a professional tandem pilot, you'll enjoy a safe and unforgettable adventure in the sky. Experience the thrill of tandem paragliding like never before with our unique beach launch. Skip the cliff-jumping and instead feel yourself gently lifted into the sky in a smooth and effortless beach take-off. Fly with the birds and soak in breath-taking panoramic views of the tropical coastline from rainforest to reef. Your flight will be tailored just for you – opt for some adrenaline-charged aerobatics or simply enjoy gliding peacefully through the air. After 20mins of flying, land gracefully back on the beach, a soft and gentle return to earth after your sky-high adventure. Free return transfers from Cairns City, Trinity Beach and Palm Cove are available for passengers. Booking required - select relevant Tandem Paraglide + Transport option at booking. Tandem flights are weather dependent. There may be delays/changes to your booking if weather conditions change or are unsuitable for flying. We kindly ask for your patience, understanding and flexibility should this occur.

Return Transfers: Pick-up Cairns 1:15pm, Trinity Beach 1:40pm, Palm Cove 1:50pm. Return departure from Wangetti Beach will be around 5:30pm.

Flight + Transfer Option 1

Return Transfers: Pick-up Cairns 10:45am, Trinity Beach 11:10am, Palm Cove 1:50pm. Return departure from Wangetti Beach will be around 3pm.

We had an excellent para gliding experience with Dave as a very competent and professional pilot. Both felt in safe hands and could take in the views in a very relaxed way. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed my flight from start to finish. Soaring so high above the beach, the views are magnificent, and then the exciting swoop and spin down to a perfect landing. A truly unforgettable and wonderful experience. Dave and Nikki are a great team, professional and very accommodating. I will happily recommend them to anyone thinking of paragliding in Cairns.

Dave, Nikki and Sophie... thanks so much for hosting my epic adventure! Having been to the reef and explored the rainforest, to soar above the two was breathtaking. Exhilarating yet relaxing. A must do for any solo traveller.... or mates & family.!! Well worth getting the video package!! Loved it! 10/10 😁🪂

It was on my bucket list to do paragliding and doing this from the beach was so easy and a beautiful way to see the beaches and nature. Dave made me feel so comfortable and safe and talked me through the steps. I loved it. Both Nikki and Dave were so nice. 100% recommend it and would do it again through them.

Wow - what a fabulous experience from start to finish! Launching and landing on the beach was easy and smooth. My tandem pilot Dave was so calm and knowledgeable and I felt in safe hands. We got so high and actually flew next to an osprey! A must do if you’re holidaying in Cairns or Port Douglas.

So much fun! The tandem paragliding flight with Dave was awesome. We flew up to the top of the mountain and had some incredible views along the coast and out to the reef. Loved the spirals and spins too - such an adrenaline rush. Free transport from Cairns was also a bonus. Highly recommend.

Dave and Nikki were so friendly and made the whole experience fun and memorable. The beach launch was great for me as I didn’t fancy jumping off a cliff! The flight was so peaceful and the views were stunning. I’ll be telling all my friends and family to do it on their next trip to Cairns.
