What To Expect
Experience tandem paragliding above Salzburg from Gaisberg Mountain, one of the region’s most scenic launch sites overlooking the city and the Alps. We meet at the summit of Gaisberg, where your certified pilot provides a detailed safety briefing and explains every step of the flight until you feel completely comfortable. No previous experience is required. With a few easy steps from a flat meadow, we gently lift off and you relax back into your secure, comfortable harness. After the first moments in the air, you begin to relax and smoothly glide higher above the landscape. During the flight, enjoy panoramic views of Salzburg’s historic old town with the Fortress Hohensalzburg, the surrounding alpine peaks and nearby lakes. You can switch anytime between a calm scenic glide, dynamic turns or a more adrenaline-filled experience, depending on how you feel in the air. Landing is smooth and easy on a wide meadow, and you remain comfortably seated in your harness – no running required. The total experience takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours including meeting, preparation, flight and landing. Optional photo & video packages and extended thermal flights are available as upgrades.

5.00What an experience. I joined the flight hoping for something exciting, but it ended up being even crazier than I expected. The absolute highlight was doing the spiral dive. I was nervous before, but I went for it, and it was such an adrenaline rush. For a few moments it felt completely wild, but in the best way. Back on the ground, I was so relieved, happy, and honestly just proud that I had dared to do it. It was one of those moments where you immediately know it was worth it. Such a cool paragliding experience and something I will definitely remember for a long time. Absolutely recommend it. Best thing I did in Salzburg!!!!
