Our route will start at my favorite spot in Madrid for Tortilla de Patatas (a traditional Spanish omelet, an important part of authentic Spanish cuisine). From there, we’ll head towards a bar where we'll taste other flavorful tapas, like the Madrileño-style Ropa Vieja.

Afterwards, we’ll walk to a Basque cuisine tavern to try deliciously tender artichoke hearts, famous in the area due to its well-kept secret recipe.

Next, we’ll visit an elegant restaurant known for introducing the idea of Donostian-style fine dining to the neighborhood.

We'll also eat some tasty bites like Chistorra de Navarra (a special type of fried chorizo sausage), at a well-stocked tapas restaurant, famous for using top-quality ingredients and providing excellent customer service.

At each bar, we will also enjoy a drink (beer / wine / soft drink) to help digest the tapas

Our final stop is a prominent hub of Spanish cuisine, also known for its live entertainment.

Due to illness that went away quickly but left us tired, we decided not to spread our germs and attend the tapas tour with Enrique. We didn’t want to be duds. Lol. However, before scheduling and during our texts the day prior and the day of he was very helpful with recommendations for not only Madrid but several other areas in a Spain. Communication was great and next time we are in Madrid, we will definitely book again! Maybe our 30 year anniversary next year!

Took the Tapas tour in Madrid yesterday. We always love to take a food walking tour and this one is certainly highly rated. Really enjoyed it. Enrique was brilliant and was very good about the fact we wanted to book on the tour but concerned that we may not make it due to a storm in the UK causing flight issues. Very clear instructions on how to find him and what to expect, how to prepare. The tapas was brilliant and so were the wine choices. He was very good with my 9 year old son aswell and made sure he was catered for well.
TAPAS TOUR WITH ENRIQUE IS THE BEST!

When Enrique tells you to come hungry he is not kidding. This small group tour was a highlight of our trip to Madrid! Enrique got everyone involved, it was a social tour as well. The bars and restaurants were not full of tourists and the tapas and bars were authentic and local. The wine and beer were good too. Enrique made sure were were satisfied with the tapas as I do not eat fish and my son is a vegetarian. This is a very fun tour with lots of laughs too! The tapas tour aside - Enrique went above and beyond helping me plan the rest of my Madrid trip. He called me on the phone a few times and he even made a reservation for me at a local Paella restaurant, making sure there was a vegetarian option. He is a unique and special guide!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had so much fun on this tour. We got to try foods we wouldn’t have normally tried and it was all delicious! Enrique was so nice and would even stop to tell us information about the local architecture. Would 100% recommend.

To all who want to submerge into Spain's culinary world, this is a must experience. We learned the ins and outs of how to order and why tapas are called tapas. Not only that, but the cultural history around tapas, wine and beer. There is so much to learn than just the ingredients themselves. Plus, the atmosphere of every place we visited was fun and our guide was the perfect host to making our experience memorable. Definitely a must for future travelers!!!!

We loved our tapas tour with Enrique. Food and wine were delicious and different from other places. Also, he provided some tips to differentiate wines by region. I really enjoyed talking with Enrique and learning from the neighborhood he took us. It was one of the best nights we had in Madrid!

We did the tour with Enrique our first night in Madrid. He communicated effectively in advance, made it easy to find him on arrival at our meeting place and was a wonderful host. Everywhere we went was excellent and we would definitely do this again with him.

Delicious, informative, and well paced. Enrique did a fantastic job catering to the needs of everyone in our group. His unique selection of tapas and locations were such that I would not have been able to have a similar experience without his guidance. While booking, I was unsure about the cost of the experience, but afterwards I left feeling more than satisfied with the value I received because of the rich and plentiful food selection and the high quality of drinks that were paired.

We had a great time in Madrid on our tapas tour! Enrique gave great recs for the rest of our trip, enjoyed some delicious food and drank his recommended paired drink with some of the food. Would recommend!
