Taroko National Park

One of Taiwan’s most famous destinations, Taroko National Park is known for its marble canyons, lush forests, and towering peaks. The Liwu River has carved the stunning 18 km Taroko Gorge, where sheer marble cliffs rise above turquoise waters. Our visit includes highlights such as the Taroko Gorge Entrance Arch, Visitor Center, and scenic viewpoints along the gorge. Although some trails remain closed due to the April 2024 earthquake, your experienced guide will take you to the best open spots with breathtaking views and hidden photo opportunities. We dedicate a significant part of the day to exploring Taroko, with short walks, plenty of photo stops, and a relaxed pace. Sightseeing duration may vary with traffic, weather, or park rules, but your guide will adjust the itinerary to ensure the best experience. This full-day tour usually lasts around 8 hours, so starting before 8:30 AM is recommended.

An absolutely amazing tour! Although parts of the park are closed we felt like we saw so much. Alex did such an amazing job, taking us to so many locations - and they all varied so much that it was constantly entertaining and fun! We learned so much history, more than any museum we have visited. Thank you to Alex, and absolutely book this tour!

Alex was fantastic! We were able to totally customize the trip based on our needs and Taroko Gorge, the Buddhist temples and the coastline are gorgeous. We even saw a red-faced monkey up close. Highly recommend this trip!

Although many of Taroko Park is under repair after the 2024 earthquake, Alex was able to take us to various sites of the most impressive park. Be prepared to climb steps.

We had a fantastic day, the tour was very well organised. Lion was very informative which made the journey and sightseeing even more interesting. We will definitely recommend the tour if any of our friends visit Taiwan. Lion took us to an indigenous restaurant where we bought lunch (NT$ 400) and he was keen to tell us all about the different dishes which was helpful.
