Beautiful views of Tasman Island peninsula and coastline. We saw dolphins, albatross, and even two humpback whales though it wasn't the season for them. One recommendation is to leave your day bags/small backpacks on the bus. You're strapped into the high-speed boat wearing an ankle-length poncho they provide. You can't put your bags on the floor otherwise they will get wet. Just bring your camera for the boat. The Port Arthur Penitentiary Site was really interesting. I recommend starting with the Separate Prison as there is more info provided there if doing a self-guided tour. Overall this was a great experience and our driver Kirin provided informative content on the drive in from Hobart.

Absolutely loved this day adventure. The cruise experience exceeded expectation - we’ve never seen so many dolphins, loved the seals, and the coastline was so dramatic & beautiful. We were also excited to do Port Arthur and it was well worth it. Amazing day! We took tips from other reviews and made sure we layered up to keep warm for cruise, and don’t forget sunscreen (and hat for Port Arthur). We only had 3 days in Hobart and are so pleased we did this - highly recommend.

This was by far the best tour on our Australian vacation. The boat cruise was spectacular. The scenery was just amazing and so beautiful! Port Arthur is a great historic site visit. The tour was on time and the bus driver kept to the schedule.

Totally spectacular cruise! Thanks to an amazing crew of Lilly and Kai who were a wealth of information, friendly and very professional in their boatmanship. Seeing the amazing East Coast scenery from a boat was breath taking at every point. And the bonus of wildlife such as dolphins, seals and birds will be hard to beat. I would highly recommend this tour!

The trip was ok although I would not book it again due to the following reasons: The bus was too small very difficult to sit. The lunch could have been purchased at the stop with better choices of food and sitting arrangements which were outside with temperatures around 28C. The time spent at the Forth was too long and not everyone likes to walk in the heat of the day. Finally there was no information about taking a warmer clothes for the boat ride.

The island tour was outrageously fun! Our guides Tom and Ellie did a fabulous job showing us sites, pointing out wildlife, and making sure everyone was well attended and safe.. They were very approachable and engaging throughout. This was a very professional operation. The Port Arthur tour was self guided, and a little difficult to navigate. There were talks offered at multiple locations across the site. All of them were quite informative and very interesting. However, we found ourselves rushing to get from one to another. On top, most of the presentations ended in the mid afternoon, so we were not able to see the full offering. All that said, Port Arthur is a fascinating site to visit and there is a tremendous amount of content there. One could easily spend an entireday touring this place, so doing it in a three hour timeframe is problematic.

Chose the 3 Hour Tasman Isle Cruise and then 3 hour Port Arthur Site visit - both great experiences. We went in the height of summer and out on the boat cruise - beanies/gloves are recommended - but a fantastic experience. Various Sea Lions, Seals, Dolphins, Albatross - most amazing cliffs
