  This is my first tour in Hobart and I can say, it is incredible. Of course, as a solo traveller, safety is a must and so far they always make sure all of us are taken care of. The guide give us a lot of time to enjoy every stop , especially the port arthur tour. Very friendly staff as well and theres nothing more I could ask for.   The rugged shoreline of Port Arthur is absolutely stunning! The entire staff was friendly and professional, from the receptionist at check-in to the driver to the boat captain - all superb. The travel van was clean and comfortable and our boat driver passed by the cliffs from both directions and circled around so that everyone in the boat could get a fantastic views. My only recommendation would be to have a Guide at the Port Arthur Penitentiary to give us a live guided tour.

• Reconsider a three + hour drop in Port Arthur!

  While we enjoyed the time on the boat (captain was fantastic), three hours at Port Arthur was far too long and the various stops to pick up and drop off, including a stop at the airport, were both surprising and annoying. Also having booked on Trip Advisor, some of the details were omitted, specifically various other options for the second half of the day like the zoo, were not apparent. Live and learn.

  We started the day smoothly with our great driver and guide Liam. I forgot the names of the 2 staff on the boat, but they were both friendly and passionate about what they do. Very well organised. Truly an epic experience.

  Beautiful views of Tasman Island peninsula and coastline. We saw dolphins, albatross, and even two humpback whales though it wasn't the season for them. One recommendation is to leave your day bags/small backpacks on the bus. You're strapped into the high-speed boat wearing an ankle-length poncho they provide. You can't put your bags on the floor otherwise they will get wet. Just bring your camera for the boat. The Port Arthur Penitentiary Site was really interesting. I recommend starting with the Separate Prison as there is more info provided there if doing a self-guided tour. Overall this was a great experience and our driver Kirin provided informative content on the drive in from Hobart.

  Absolutely loved this day adventure. The cruise experience exceeded expectation - we’ve never seen so many dolphins, loved the seals, and the coastline was so dramatic & beautiful. We were also excited to do Port Arthur and it was well worth it. Amazing day! We took tips from other reviews and made sure we layered up to keep warm for cruise, and don’t forget sunscreen (and hat for Port Arthur). We only had 3 days in Hobart and are so pleased we did this - highly recommend.

  This was by far the best tour on our Australian vacation. The boat cruise was spectacular. The scenery was just amazing and so beautiful! Port Arthur is a great historic site visit. The tour was on time and the bus driver kept to the schedule.
