What To Expect
During this experience, you'll enjoy a guided tasting of three unique Maltese wines, each paired with traditional local farm cheeses. You'll sit inside our cosy wine bar in the heart of Valletta as we share the stories behind the wines, the grapes, and the cheese traditions. This is a relaxed and intimate experience - not a formal wine class - where you'll discover the flavours of Malta in a casual, welcoming setting. It's a perfect cultural break between sightseeing and dinner, and a great way to experience something authentic and local. You'll leave with a deeper appreciation of Maltese wine, a satisfied palate, and maybe a new favourite bottle!

Cheese - Each wine is paired with a local farm cheese, offering a range of textures and flavours. served also with water biscuits and grissini.
Bottled Water - A small bottle of still or sparkling water is included for your comfort throughout the tasting.
Wine - You will enjoy three glasses of carefully selected Maltese wines, each showcasing unique local grape varieties and styles.

5.00Please be prepared for a full wine tasting and a full cheese tasting! Full glasses of delicious local wine are perfectly paired with farm fresh, local, seasonal selection of cheese. I love cheese, and specifically goat and sheep cheese, and I must say I had never tried these cheeses before. We tried 10 in total (most of which were sheep cheese- my fav!), in three rounds to pair with each wine. The quality of cheese and wine is outstanding, and the quantity will definitely fill you up! My husband and I made the mistake of eating dinner before, so I would recommend going on an empty stomach or having a light snack at most! The cheese also came with local favorites (olives, black bean dip, fig jam, etc) that complimented the cheese. This tasting is unique as it is run by the owners of the wine bar, which is a lovely pair of amazing Maltese locals! We had a great conversation that felt as natural as good friends sharing stories.The wine bar is in a restored building with beautiful decoration on the ceiling, in a great location in Valletta! 20 out of 10 recommend this tasting, it was definitely a high moment of our stay in Malta! If I’m in Malta I would definitely visit again without hesitation :)

5.00What an amazing experience. The owners of the wine bar were so friendly, knew all about the wine and cheese, and were so excited to share their love of Malta wine and cheese with us. In fact, we were so amazed, we went back the next day just for a glass of wine. If you are in Malta, you need to add this to your list

5.00Kelsey and Phillip were so wonderful with their hospitality and wine knowledge. The food pairings were delicious. The cheese! They answered all our questions and were passionate about what they do. Even let us buy a round of shots for the group afterwards. Very gracious host and real local experience. Would go again!

5.00What a delight! The wine and cheese were excellent! We are pretty experienced wine lovers and have done many tastings. We truly enjoyed every taste of wine and cheese they shared with us! The passion of our hosts was obvious and contagious. It’s such a lovely and intimate wine bar! We made reservations to return tomorrow to enjoy their other selections. Highly recommend!
