Ben Thanh Market
The Bến Thành Market is a jewel in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. This historic marketplace is a melting pot of culture, history, and gastronomy, offering an authentic and unforgettable experience. As you wander through its bustling aisles, you'll find an array of goods from traditional fabrics and local handicrafts to exotic spices and culinary delights. The market isn't just a shopper's paradise, but also a perfect place to immerse in the lively atmosphere of the city and observe the daily life of the locals. While this landmark isn't a stop on our tour, Bến Thành Market is certainly worth a visit for anyone wanting to capture the authentic essence of Saigon.
Central Post Office
Experience the charm of the Saigon Central Post Office, an architectural gem in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. This historic building, a prime example of French colonial architecture, was not designed by Gustave Eiffel, but rather by Alfred Foulhoux. Its stunning yellow façade with green shutters, and the elegant interior featuring arched windows and a grand, domed roof, reflect a unique blend of French and Vietnamese design. Inside, the post office operates as it has for over a century, adorned with old maps and historical memorabilia. Although it's not a stop on our tour, a visit to this iconic post office is highly recommended for its architectural beauty and its standing as an important historical landmark in Saigon.

I had the absolute luck to be the only one joining the tour that day – which turned into a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Elly took me around Saigon on her motorbike, showing me places and stories I would have never discovered on my own. If you want to experience Saigon through the eyes of a true local (born and raised here), this is the perfect way to do it. Elly is super friendly, knowledgeable, and makes you feel completely safe on the road. You don’t just see the city – you really feel it. Highly recommended!

Super nice tour and different from the habitual. First of all, props to Elly, the guide, that did the tour even when only me showed up in a rainy evening, she even rode me on her moto so we could be more comfy and check a couple of places extra. You are the best 🫶🏻 Regarding the tour: local guide showing you not that usual local places and foods to eat, what can I say? 10/10
