Especially three things make this experience unique:
a) tasting the Honey Mead (unique liqueur made of fermented bee honey and water | Hydromeli), which is produced exclusively in Greece by the Sotirali Family from neighboring Neapolis town, which has reinvented and patented this forgotten local traditional recipe,
b) tasting the rich flavor of our own extra virgin olive oil Benios made of o local olive variety named "Athinoelia",
c) Experience tasting the unique local wine "Malvasia", which was very famous and coveted during the middle ages. The original recipe has been discovered and revived recently by Monemvasia Winery, continuing the centuries old wine making tradition of the area.

Fotini (the owner of the shop) was just so warm and welcoming. She had a wonderful charcuterie set out for us and shared stories and history of their products and the work that goes into them. She made us feel completely at home and everything we tasted was just delicious! We are so glad we booked this visit with Fotini! She and her shop are just fabulous!

Amazing food, excellent host. Great location. It is a bit small to you will stand for the tasting which is fine. Only improvement is I wish the directions would have said it is in a soap store. The location and name of the place on the building is very hard to find. Unless you are good at measuring 50 meters. Look for the soaps out front on the left and their logo as the word “deli” has worn off and the pace doesn’t look like a deli.

The experience was a birthday present. And that was it. Fotini is a piece of life. She told and showed their local and own products and we tasted everything and more. Feks honey, olive oil, wine and gin. There was bread, cheese and various orders all locally produced. Many of the products were from their own production - e.g. olive oil, creams and honey. It is clear that Fotini and her husband and their families before them, are very quality proven. We thank you for an amazing experience and the warmest recommendations from Anja and Jane. If you are in Monemvasia you must not fail to visit the store nor a taste experience. Huge kram the 2 girls from Denmark (We look forward to receiving the package with all the delicious products we bought)

Absolutely amazing experience! Highly recommend checking out this experience and shop while visiting! The owner is extremely knowledgable and personable! We had the opportunity to try several wines, liquors, honey's and local snacks. We could have spent hours here just tasting various things and learning about the local food/wine culture.

The owners treat as with great professionalism and at the same time, sense of humour. Great tasting of local products and inspiring discussions. We will definitely go back again and again and again. Till then we will be keeping in touch and purchasing such unique products online

We were offered us a few tastings, given some great information, and had a nice chat. We ended up purchasing a few bottles of Mead and some of her great skin care products.
