Join us for a unique and thrilling experience on a V8 Chevrolet trike as we explore the beautiful Bay of Plenty. Designed and built in New Zealand, our awesome trikes are powered by 5700cc Chevrolet motors. It’s the ultimate in power and excitement. With a low centre of gravity, our trikes provide a smooth ride with an impressive grip around corners.
Suitable for ages 2+ and all abilities including disabled.
Registered as a car with NZTA and not a motorbike therefore seatbelts are compulsory not helmets.
Suitable for age 2+ and all abilities, special needs, disabled or those with mobility issues.
Note: price is per vehicle not per person so a max of 4 people can take the tour.

5.00Wow what a tour.The moment you hear that V8 engine fire up you know your in for a great ride.The tour was amazing and our guide gave us great insight into the local culture and surroundings. This is one of them tours that if you don’t do it, you will kick yourself later

5.00This was a great experience and would work with this company again. It was so much fun and our driver was knowledgeable and very personable! Spike was our driver. we had wheelchairs and talked to Viator or someone from the tour and got wrong information. We were also charged for a bigger motorcycle than we used. We paid for the bigger one for 4 people and only used one for 2 people. We were told we could put our wheelchair in the 3rd seat. Alas we could not. However we left our wheelchairs with a woman with the company and she even covered them up when it started to rain! Super nice people.

5.00What an amazing Tour. We were with friends & going to 25min Tour & so glad we chose 1hour trip. Our Driver was Jo & he was amazing, Jo was Miced up & was Fantastic. The trip took us through Kiwi plantation & Avacado plantations & the trip on the Freeway was Fantastic. Its a must do & very convenient to the Port.
The purr of a v8 motor trike, wind whistling through your hair. An experience not to be missed. Suitable for all ages.

5.004 generations of our family (86yo - 10yo) took the 25 minute V8 trip around Mt Maunganui and loved it. My Mum and son both have mobility issues but that was not a problem on this trip. Our driver Alan was friendly, helpful and gave a lovely commentary on the trip. We all enjoyed the burst of speed you get from these bikes while feeling safe and secure the whole trip. Thank you Kathryn for your help getting this booking organised.

5.00This is, by far, THE BEST tour we have done this holiday. The roar of these machines got this old rev heads blood pumping. Wind in the face, the power of the trike, the rumble of the engine, all adding to the adrenalin. Our 'driver' Alan was fantastic, and has a great sense of humour. Alan is very informative, and very knowledgeable. I particually liked the narrative of the early Moari, and the 1st 'Pakeha' in the district. And being an ex-pat Kiwi, I still learnt a lot. If you are in Tauranga/Mt. Maunganui, this V8 Trike tour is a must do. (Do the tour to the top of the mountain with panaramic ocean views). Although the price is on the high end, it is worth every cent. We can not honestly rate this tour high enough.

Our driver was informative and awesome, and we managed to see so much in a short time before needing to be back at the ship. The views were stunning and we got some amazing photos along the way. Highly recommend!
