We had a fantastic time on this tour! This is truly an authentic experience that is very personalized and cozy. The logistics were very well organized and executed and the cooking and food were fabulous! I hope to replicate some of the dishes when I get home! Our guide was fantastic and answered many questions about Georgian life and culture. It was a pleasure to have this unique experience.

We had the best time! The tour started with welcome wine from our lovely guide Tako, who was so fun, engaging, and open to answering all our questions about life in Georgia. We got to have a fun hands on experience cooking delicious Georgian dishes with the chef, while Tako explained everything along the way. It was such a friendly environment and we all got to enjoy the yummy meal we cooked together with some amber wine and chacha. This was complete with learning all about Georgian toasting culture from Tako. I really can’t recommend this experience highly enough if you’re in Georgia and not only want to learn about Georgian cooking, but want to share a meal with new friends and learn all about Georgia from a Georgian guide over a delicious dinner.

I really enjoyed my 3-hour food and cooking tour with Gamarjoba Tours. Even though I was the only guest that day, it turned into a very personal and memorable experience. We followed their cooking tour itinerary, preparing traditional Georgian dishes like khinkali, khachapuri, and pkhali, learning about local ingredients, spices, and cooking techniques before sitting down to enjoy the meal together. My guide, Maria, was fantastic. She was great company over dinner and shared thoughtful insights into Georgian culture, daily life, and food traditions, making the evening feel more like cooking with a local friend than a tour. A relaxed, authentic experience that I’d highly recommend.

Great experience for the whole family, that my kids enjoyed very much! The cooking lesson is a very good introduction to the most iconic dishes of Georgian cuisine (it can replace a food tour if you don't have time). Our host was welcoming, efficient and very well organized, something essential to any good cooking class. Elene, our guide, was very friendly and helpful and translated everything for us. She also gave us insightful information not only about the Georgian cuisine, but about many aspects of the Georgian culture. We had a wonderful time that left us with a very cozy feeling. Highly recommended!

5+ stars! Georgian cuisine is wonderful and I wish I had known about it sooner. Mariam was an excellent guide. Eating dinner with her was like dining with one of your best friends and she is an archaeologist! Excellent dinner conversation. Couldn't have asked for a better evening.

The host was lovely and the guide, Keti, was excellent. We made 5 different dishes. Everything was delicious. The host even surprised me with cake for my birthday. I thoroughly enjoyed learning how to make my favourite Georgian dishes. The only downside was getting the recipes from Gamarjoba. They initially referred us to Internet recipes and YouTube but eventually provided recipes from the host.

I certainly wanted to do this tour while I was in Georgia. I have always been a massive fan of Georgian food and have even cooked some of it myself previously. I thoroughly enjoyed this class and got a lot out of it. The chef hosted us in her lovely home, taught us to make a variety of Georgian dishes, and at the end we had a huge feast with all the dishes we helped to create! Elene was great guide. Not only did she provide us translation, but explained many aspects of Georgian culture and we all had an engaging and educational conversation. We had a small group, and there was a great synergy between all of us. I would certainly recommend this tour to anyone in Georgia who is interested in their cuisine!

We had the best evening cooking Georgian food and eating our homemade dinner. Our guide Michael was super open and friendly, he accompanied us through the evening giving us a flavour of life in Georgia. What a magical evening, thank you!
