Road was blocked. The trip was canceled. Due to weather issues blocking the road even though we double checked day before and they said everything will be fine. Tour guide is the only good part of the trip, super friendly, super helpful. His name is Dimitri if i am not wrong he is from georgia and he is really the only good thing of this trip. I hate to be writing a bad review with him being the tour guide, so unfair for him he really did his best to try to satisfy and compensate everyone but yea day ruined in the end. And we didn’t go back even, we were forced to join another trip through voting because our group was 17 people and well 10 of them were indian students all friends, so yea whatever they vote to no vote would work as they would win the vote anyway so we had to do what they want. And whole day got wasted. Make sure always before joining this trip that the weather is good if you feel 5% or higher that it is bad, this trip immediatly and avoid it

We had a wonderful winter holiday tour from Tbilisi to Ananuri and Gudauri Ski Resort, and it was truly a memorable experience. The scenery along the way was absolutely breathtaking — from the historic Ananuri Fortress to the stunning views of Jinvali Lake, and finally the snow-covered mountains of Gudauri. Every stop felt well planned and unhurried, giving us enough time to enjoy the views, take photos, and truly appreciate Georgia’s natural beauty. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, kind, and accommodating. He explained the history and culture clearly and patiently, always checking if everyone was comfortable and enjoying the trip. He was especially thoughtful toward families and made sure everyone felt safe and relaxed throughout the journey. This tour is perfect for first-time visitors, families, and anyone wanting to experience Georgia’s mountains in winter. Highly recommended for a smooth, informative, and beautiful day trip from Tbilisi.

We had a wonderful experience with Vitis Travel on the Kazbegi tour. The main stops included Zhinvali Reservoir, Ananuri Fortress, Gudauri Panorama, Stepantsminda, and Gergeti Trinity Church. Our guide Nikolas was excellent — very friendly, knowledgeable, and spoke great English. He shared history and stories in an engaging way and always made sure everyone felt comfortable. Our driver Georges was professional and careful, and the car was very clean and comfortable throughout the journey. The tour was well-organized, with enough time at each stop and smooth logistics from start to finish. Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable experience, and I would highly recommend Vitis Travel! A quick tip: it can get windy and cold at Gergeti Trinity Church, so bring a jacket! The 4x4 ride is definitely worth it.
