Our operations start around 8.00 a.m. and go until 4.30 p.m. Between those times, you can come and take your tour. Also, one tour normally takes around 40 minutes to 1 hour to complete.
When taking the plantation tour, you must participate in the tea-picking session. Before the session, we performed the customary worship of Lord Ganesh at a small kovil close to the plantation.
You will also receive your basket to harvest tea, as well as a small mottu. If you decide to take part in the tea plucking activity, you could perhaps wear the customary tea plucker attire of a wraparound saree or sarong.
Relax amidst the breathtaking views of endless greenery, tea estates, and surrounding countryside at our Sky Café from a mountain top of 300m above ground/1300m above sea level.

5.00Amazing experience, we really enjoyed learning about the plantation and the craft and hard work that goes into tea making. Sallay our guide was a real expert on the plantation, had a genuine passion for tea and made us laugh lots. I would really recommend the plantation tour as the opportunity to try tea picking was really interesting and it gives you time to admire the beautiful views. The tasting was great and we came away with a few bags of tea as souvenirs. Would also recommend walking back down the hill from the tea factory to the town at the bottom as the views are beautiful and you see many tea pickers along the way.

5.00I enjoyed the tea plantation tour. There are three different tours available over there: 1. tea plantation tour where they give you a plantation tour and let you pick the tea leaves followed with a tea tasting session. 2. tea processing tour where they will show you the whole process of making tea followed with a tea tasting session and 3. combo tour of tea plantation and tea processing. the cost of first two tours is 3000 LKR or 20$ per person while the cost of the third tour is 9000 LKR per person. Our tour guide Mr. Salary was very knowledgeable and clear with his explanation. The group size was about 8 people for us where we were 4 of us and two other groups of 2 people but I guess the crowd depends day to day. The weather when we went there was very nice with light cool breeze and cloud cover. The total duration of the tour was about an hour.

5.00Great experience to understand tea production and try your hand ins mall group at collecting tea. Very clear explanations by Dharshani! At the end, you got to try a number of different varieties of tea and sit looking out at lovely views from the sky deck cafe.
