Making a booking within your budget to secure your spot and travelling with professional English tour guide. Meeting your guide at the meeting point by Metro Line 5 East Gate of Temple of Heaven(Tian tan dong men Station Exit A2 ) Proceed to the Temple of Heaven, the place where the Emperors prayed for peace and harvest. It had been one of the most holy places for the whole country for more than five centuries. Don't miss the Cypress Grove. Old cypress trees are worth having a close look. Some of the cypresses are more than 600 years old. Dr Henry Kissinger, when he visited the temple, stated that while the USA could recreate the Temple of Heaven if it desired, it could not create the trees. Important Note: please carry passport and cash( or Alipay) to buy ticket.

5.00The best decision we made in Beijing was joining Roy’s tour of the Temple of Heaven. Earlier that morning, we had visited the Forbidden City with another guide and honestly, it was quite disappointing. But Roy completely changed the game! His English is excellent, and he knows so much—not only about the site we were visiting, but also about Beijing and China in general. The two hours went by in a flash! He shared so many interesting stories and facts that I felt I could have listened to him talk for hours. Highly recommend—if you can, do all your tours with Roy!

5.00Visiting China with an authentic chinese guide is a real historical and cultural voyage that you cannot miss. I booked this walking tour with Roy that explained and introduced us not only about the history of the spot but also the meaning of each color, symbol and shape means in chinese ancient culture. He is an amazing guide (prepared, kind and with a real fluent english) and I really recommend to book with him.
Ended up doing 3 walking tours with Roy - You'll be in for a treat!

5.00The Temple of Heaven tour was the second tour that I did with Roy, the first being the Summer Palace Walking Tour and the third being the Hutong Walking Tour. Even though I've been to these places, I learnt so much from Roy's tours. The 8 am start for this walking tour was perfect as we avoided the large crowds of other tourists. Roy is exceptionally knowledgeable and shared all the little details of the Temple of Heaven that I would've missed if I had gone alone. You won't regret booking this tour with Roy~

5.00Temple of Heaven was my first visit in Beijing and my introduction to Roy. Roy is an excellent guide, who not only does explain the place you are at, but also the History behind it and Chinese culture overall. He makes tours interactive by asking questions to let you participate. Since this tour, I have done 2 more, and he is always my first choice if he is available.

He was able to combine the lightness and depth of Chinese spirituality in a few but effective words. His English is very good and he is a serious and very capable professional. 5.00Had a great tour with our guide Barry. Really enjoyed hiking up the Wall to the next hill. The lunch was great too, so was the Summer Palace!
