Zaisan Hill Monument
Zaisan Hill Monument in Ulaanbaatar. Located in southern Ulaanbaatar, the Zaisan Memorial features the Mongolian Soyombo and Soviet Hammer and Sickle symbols, honoring Soviet soldiers. A scenic staircase and paved road lead visitors up the hill to the main monument, offering panoramic views of the city.
Gorkhi Terelj National Park
- Gorkhi–Terelj National Park, located 60 km southeast of Ulaanbaatar (about a 1 to 2 hour drive), is the closest national park to the city. Highlights include Turtle Rock and the Aryabal Meditation Temple, set among scenic granite mountains, forests, and unique rock formations. - And we will have lunch, then approximately 2 hours of horse riding at Terelj National Park.

Elsen Tasarkhai
Elsen Tasarkhai, part of the Mongol Els sand dunes, stretches for 80 km across central Mongolia. Surrounded by steppe, rivers, and forested mountains, it features a unique landscape where sand dunes meet greenery, with the Khugnu Khan Mountains rising to the north. A one-hour camel ride is included.

Orkhon Waterfall
Orkhon Water fall It is a 10-meter-wide waterfall that falls from a height of more than 20 meters on the Ulaan River, which flows into the western part of the Orkhon River, 132 km from the city of Kharkhorin in Uvurkhangai aimag. The Orkhon River flows through volcanic chert for 130 kilometers from the Gyatruun Range to Kharkhorin Sum. During the Quaternary period, a volcano erupted at the head of the Tsagaan Azarga River, which originates from the Khangai Range, and its hot molten material flowed down the Orkhon Valley, forming a thick chert layer several tens of kilometers thick.

Kharkhorin
Kharkhorin The ancient capital of Mongolia in the Middle Ages, Kharkhorum, attracts the most attention of experts. Kharkhorum was the capital of the Mongol Empire for 32 of its 140 years of existence. In the vicinity of Kharkhorum are the remains of Kharkhorum, the capital of the Great Mongol Empire founded by Ögedei Khan. There is also the Erdene-Zuu monastery.
Tuvkhun Temple
Tuvkhun Monastery is located on the summit of Shireet Ulaan Mountain (2,268 m a.s.l.), offering stunning panoramic views over forested mountains. Reaching the monastery requires a scenic 1–2 hour hike one way. Built in 1653 by Undur Gegeen Zanabazar, this sacred site was used for meditation and artistic creation and is surrounded by larch and cedar forests near Bat-Ulzii, Uvurkhangai Province.

Erdene Zuu Monastery

Ugii Lake
Ogii lake is located northeast of Ogiinuur soum in Arkhangai aimag, Mongolia. Ogii lake has an area of 25 square kilometers, is 7 kilometers long and 5 kilometers wide. At its deepest point, it is about 15 meters. It is a freshwater steppe lake located 1,337 meters above sea level and is part of the Arctic Ocean basin. In 2006, the lake was placed under special protection. Ogii lake is fed by the Old Orkhon River from the west, and the Khooloin River flows northwest and flows into the Orkhon River. It is covered with ice from November to May. Researchers have determined that there are 14 species of fish, 27 species of floating plants, and 48 species of floating animals in the Orkhon River basin, including pike, perch, bream, red bream and silver bream. This lake is home to about 150 species of waterfowl.
