Hlavni Pevnost (Main Fortress)
We'll start our tour at a “Retranchement 5” building where is the visitors center. I will explain the history of this unique 18th century military fortress. We'll climb its walls and find hidden spots that most groups miss because they're off the beaten track.
Muzeum Ghetta
The Ghetto Museum is located in the former school building in the very centre of Terezin. In the ground floor there is a Memorial hall of children. The first floor exhibition covers the inception of the persecution of Protectorate Jews, their life in the ghetto and extermination camps. Please be prepared that the exhibition may cause very strong emotions.

Very informative! Zusana was lovely, picked us up on time and was very knowledgeable. I was unaware of the importance of Terezin and found the grounds and museums sobering. I would caution there is a lot of walking and if you go in the winter, shoveling the walkways is not very important to them. It was slushy and icy making for a very slippery walk over cobblestone walks and hills.

Memorable day and tour with Zuzana who was very knowledgeable about Terezin and its deep history. Zuzana made sure that we had enough time to see everything that we wanted to see. She let us have time when we needed it so that we could reflect on the heaviness of the moment. She was very attentive to our needs. I highly recommend visiting Terezin with Zuzana as your guide!

Zusane was amazing! She shared so much information about Terezin and knew when to step back when we were struggling with the information. We did a private tour with her and highly recommend her. You won't be disappointed.

Zuzana was an amazing guide. She had a great amount of interesting and historical information that she was able to give on each place we toured. I highly recommend her as a tour guide. She was very friendly and in addition, she was willing to give you time to reflect on what you had experienced and offer the chance to ask questions or just let you talk about your experience in a very comfortable manner. Thank you so much Zuzana. I could not have asked for a more knowledgeable tour guide.

Zuzana was a great guide. This was an excellent tour. Zuzana took us off the "beaten path" for us to get to Terezin. Was able to see the country side and get a feel for what the country was like beyond the city of Prague. Very knowledgeable about the country and especially Terezin, the fortress, the town and the entire area. She was great....we thoroughly enjoyed her and the tour.

Excellent tour. Zuzana was great. Very knowledgeable. Pleasant, interesting and very accommodating. She took us off “the beaten path” and showed us a lot more than you would normally see. Wanted to make sure we saw what we wanted and she went over and above what we would normally have expected. Great guide!!!
