What To Expect
The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses
Emperor Qin Shi Huang (259 - 210BC), the first emperor of the first unified dynasty of Imperial China, left the UNESCO World Heritage Site to Xian. You will see a super large collection of life-size terra cotta sculptures in battle formations, reproducing the mega imperial guard troops. Being the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century, the Terracotta Army is no doubt a must-see for every visitor to Xi'an.

4.00Very simple ticket to buy through viator and very convenient. I had tried to make the purchase through the official website but without Chinese mobile number it is impossible to complete it, fortunately there are platforms like viator, simple, quick and reliable. The experience at the Terracotta Army is hardcore, hordes of crowds pushing in all directions, you have to go very early (or probably even very late) and arm yourself with a lot of patience, but for the eighth wonder in the world it is worth it

1.00Avoid a weekend and when Chinese children are off school. Try to visit in cooler weather. We tried going on Sunday and there was a long line waiting to get into another line for the big pit. Have been there 9 times before and never like this. But previous trip was 2015

5.00Perfect booking, no problem at all. Top experience in China, a real emotions. Arrive veryveryvery early because of overtourism. There are no long queue but you don't see anything at the beginnung cause of the "human wall"

5.00Suffice it to scan your passport to get in. Purchase ticket easy and hassle-free (a little surcharge of course there is but it was not possible to buy the ticket directly from the mausoleum website)
