What To Expect
The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses
Emperor Qin Shi Huang (259 - 210BC), the first emperor of the first unified dynasty of Imperial China, left the UNESCO World Heritage Site to Xian. You will see a super large collection of life-size terra cotta sculptures in battle formations, reproducing the mega imperial guard troops. Being the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century, the Terracotta Army is no doubt a must-see for every visitor to Xi'an.

3.00You don't really see anything you haven't seen in photos and it doesn't give you that feeling of greatness that you expect when you enter. They take you over the edge of the pit and you see the statues quite a distance away. If you were at least allowed to pass at the same height of a statue, to get an idea of the dimensions, it would be much more spectacular in my opinion. With the wonders of this country, I would never move here again to see it.
