With a local born and raised in Bilbao come discover a beautiful city and the amazing Basque cuisine on our 3-hour ‘pintxos’ (Basque tapas) tour of Bilbao. Experience the 700 year old streets of the Old Town with a professional local 100% Basque guide who is an expert in the Bilbao culinary scene. We are the original "Bilbao Food Tour" having pioneered the idea in the city starting in 2014.
We will visit 5 bars and sample pintxo styles ranging from traditional to modern. Your guide will pair each tasting with an excellent wine that compliments the pintxo. Wines that we recommend include red wine from La Rioja, Txakoli (a lightly sparkling white wine from the Basque Coast), and more!

5.00Quality tapas and lovely wine pairings, our host was very knowledgable and ultra approachable! This is a small group tour and we met up with people from England the US and The Netherlands which made it a really interesting and fun night out.

5.00It was a great way to explore the bars and experience the gastronomy of Bilbao. I was traveling alone for the weekend and found the bars to be intimidating. This tour helped me so much! The tour guide was amazing - friendly, funny, educational, and welcoming. The others in the tour were great as well. We all mingled and socialized for the entire 3 hours. We visited 6 different bars - 12 tapas total and 5 glasses of wine (loved the white wines and rosado) and 1 glass of local fermented cider (not a fan). I tried new food that I would never have attempted on my own. Thank you for an amazing evening. Highly recommended!

5.00We had a delightful tour with Olaia hosting us. We not only tasted delicious pintxos, but also learned a lot of history of the Basque region. Olaia is very passionate about her job and a lot of fun. Definitely must do if in Bilbao!
