Chashma
Starting the day with drive to East, to the old oasis of Nur, modern city Nurata. Nurata is located between Samarkand and Bukhara and it serves as the connecting hub between these destinations. The city was taken over by Alexander the Great in 4th century B.C. and became the fortified town to his North West part of his empire. We will visit the ruins of this fortified wall. Also as the name “Nur Ata” means “Father of the Ray” the town contains the holy spring – “Chashma” with the mosque and other structures. After the visit we have lunch at local chayhana (tea house) and continue to Yurt Camp with stop at Aydarkul lake.
Sardoba Malik
Sardoba Malik was built in the 13th century. The depth of the reservoir reaches 13 meters. Sardoba is covered with a dome, the diameter of which is 12 meters. At the bottom you can see three light windows.

We had an unforgettable stay at Aydarkul Yurt Camp! The yurts are clean and cozy, offering a real taste of nomadic life. The location is stunning—right near Aydarkul Lake, with peaceful desert views and incredible sunsets. The staff were welcoming and served delicious traditional Uzbek meals. Highlights included camel rides, live music by the campfire, and stargazing in total silence. Facilities are basic but well-kept—perfect for travelers who enjoy nature and culture over luxury. Highly recommend for a unique environment
