Vessels at Lake Melissani are 12-man rowboats with rower. Passengers may experience crowds while boarding the boats during the high Season of July & August
The boat ride, spanning approximately 10-15 minutes, includes entry to the cave, the duration of which depends on the number of visitors in the queue.
Visitors to Drogarati Cave must negotiate approximately 150 steep steps carved out of cave rock.
Recommended Dress:Smart, Casual, Comfortable footwear.
Visitors are not permitted to swim in the Lake, in order to preserve the natural environment and protect the site

5.00This tour was a 10/10 for me and my husband, and we didn’t even get to make it to Melassani. Our day was amazing and our tour guide Kathryn and the driver was Mackie (hope I’m spelling those names right) Kathryn was great and had so much fun to tell us about the island. We had an amazing time even though Melassani didn’t work out they gave us a partial refund for it. They were also very aware of the timing because we came from a cruise so they made sure to get us back to the port in time! Book this tour, you won’t regret it!

5.00Had a lovely afternoon going to the drogarati caves and Melissani Lake with a quick stop to see Myrtos beach. Alexandra, the guide, was very informative and told us lots of information about the Island. We love just sitting on a coach ( with aircon) and seeing different places we wouldn’t get to to go so had a perfect afternoon.

5.00The caves and the lake are beautiful, but very short. 30 minutes in cave and 25 minutes at the lake. Your guides were very nice and explained a lot in multiple languages. Very friendly and offered to take pictures.

4.00Caves and lake are good. Our tour guide Maria was wonderful. The bus trip was the best part. Maria explained the local history and the beautiful scenery. She took great care of us the and the bus driver was amazing.
Loved the caves. Need another 10 minutes because of the congestion.

4.00Caves are uniques. 220 steps down and 220 back up. Worth it. Not enough time because you are at the mercy of the group in front. We finally had to ask to pass to get back to the bus on time.
