Throughout the hike, we’ll pause at key points to photograph Vidigal favela and discuss its rich history. For an added adventure, consider a motorcycle ride through Vidigal to the trailhead, then descend on foot, capturing the vibrant daily life of the favela along the way.

5.00A fantastic hike with Dudu! An incredible view of Rio, the beaches, and the Corcovado. The climb was a real challenge for us, who are weekend hikers over 45, but it was worth it! Dudu was attentive and kind. Moreover, he has a real talent for photography. I highly recommend it!

5.00Chris our guide was so lovely and it’s a great but steep climb. The views on the way up and at the top are amazing. The motorcycle ride to the start of the walk was so fun. Chris who is from the local area then took us back down walking through the favela and it was nice to see a local area with a local.
