Wonderful experience!! Aquarium was fun for the kids . Will definitely visit again in 2028, when they add additional animals.

I love aquariums and will visit any time I am in a new area when I travel. We had plans in the Tampa area and visited the Florida Aquarium. I bought our tickets online which made entry easy and seamless. The aquarium is modern, clean and well organized. There were keepers (docents?) throughout, providing education and stories about the animals. The place is big, but not so big as to be daunting or even intimidating for kids. The displays are beautiful, offering great views of the plant and animal habitats. I highly recommend the Virtual Reality experience. You sit in a pod-like chair and wear a VR headset. The experience we chose simulates a dive in a submersible and the pod moves in accordance with the experience. Neither my partner nor I had any issues with the motion and were totally comfortable. I would do it again and again! This aquarium is perfect for all ages and very accessible (physically) for most visitors. I will go again when I am in the area next.

We loved our trip to the Tampa Aquarium. The place is immaculate and staff is very professional and knowledgeable. We loved it as much as the Boston Aquarium. Would definitely visit if you are in the area.

Really good range of exhibits with staff happy to answer questions. For cruisers, it's very easy to reach the aquarium and drop luggage

What a great aquarium! So many exhibits and different marine life to look at. So much information on the fish/animals you are observing are available as well. Staff present through the exhibits ready to answer any questions. We spent about 90 minutes walking around the exhibits.

Visited here with friends. Parking was easy and a short walk to the aquarium. There were many exhibits and it was a bit crowded. Lots of kids so you have to like children cutting you off and crawling around on the floors. The exhibits themselves were pretty nice with lots of variation. Didn’t eat there so can’t comment on the food.

Nice displays of many fish and sea creatures. Disturbing to see alligators in such a confined area. Also did not appreciate seeing otters frantically swimming back and forth in a smallish tank. Not sure why an aquarium has mammals. Ring tailed lemurs? I thought it was for fish and aquatic life. Confusing lay out even with a map.
