We will stroll through the streets of Athens City Center while visiting traditional Greek street food vendors; true Athenian icons, multi-generational family businesses, and new commendable food entrepreneurs.
We truly believe that our curated experience is one of the best things to do on your first day in Athens. It’s a fantastic way to get your bearings, learn fun facts and stories about Greece & Athens and its culture, and to get recommendations and tips for your stay.

We will stroll through the streets of Athens City Center while visiting traditional Greek street food vendors; true Athenian icons, multi-generational family businesses, and new commendable food entrepreneurs. Sample menu Sweet & Savory pies that you will never forget (i.e. Cheese Pie, Spinach Pie) Koulouri (toasted sesame bread ring) - Greece’s favourite breakfast on the run. this round-shaped bread is packed with good carbohydrates and proteins. Organic olive oil tasting. A traditionally brewed Greek coffee
This beautiful and vibrant square used to be the home of the city’s flower market. Only a couple flower vendors remain, as the rest have been replaced by café bars & eateries, becoming one of the hottest spots in town. Easy to reach no matter where you’re coming from, self-contained and peaceful, with no bothersome thru-traffic, the thriving square is teeming with life most hours of the day. We will enjoy a special delicacy from Crete, a pie like no other. It's called Sfakiani and is thin like crepe with soft cheese inside and honey on top! Sample Menu: Rakomelo: This famous alcoholic mixed drink is made by combining Raki (a grape flavoured brandy), with honey and warm spices like cardamom, cinnamon and local herbs.

5.00It was a fantastic walk in the center of Athens!! So different and tasteful at the same time! Pleasant walk without rush and stress and stress!! Many stops to taste outstanding flavors! We did this walk together with our kids and really at the end of the walk they told us that they had a great time because it was a different walk in the city centre!!! The van is an excellent "chief" showed us points in our city that we had not passed...never! K of course told us stories about Athens that we had never heard!! It was a special day for all of us, small and large and we enjoy it to the fullest! I strongly recommend the tour with “chief” the Athens Bites” for you and your company! As well as a special experience for team bonding with your colleagues/co-workers! We will definitely do it again!
So much more than a food tour.

5.00This was hands down the best tour I’ve ever taken. Our guide was phenomenal, and the food was absolutely impeccable. We even went back to several of the spots she introduced us to and used her tips throughout the rest of our stay. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore the local cuisine, get oriented with the city, or simply have a great time.

This year we had friends visiting from abroad and decided to treat them with a food tour in our home city and it was a smashing hit. We loved every minute, all the places we visited were top in their class. We ate, we walked, we talked, we laughed and heard great stories around the food and the city. Communication was flawless from the very beginning—clear, timely and professional. The tour matched our brief perfectly; it was exactly what we were hoping for and more. This food tour was recommended by a friend who had organised the same for his company. I was a bit skeptical at first, not knowing what to expect, but he was so enthusiastic about how successful it had been—and how everyone preferred it to simply going to another restaurant—that I decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Knowledgeable, engaging and genuinely passionate, she brought every stop and every story to life. The food was absolutely delicious and of excellent quality, showcasing some truly memorable local flavours. Everyone loved the tour and kept talking about it for days afterwards. The website promises the best places for the best bites, and it delivers 110%. The stories about the city and its cuisine were engaging and perfectly balanced, and the pacing of the tour allowed plenty of time to enjoy each stop, take it all in, and build anticipation for what came next. Eva was an exceptional guide. Her warm, kind, and passionate personality elevated the entire experience. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Athens!

This is a tour of maximum 8 persons for those looking for an authentic Greek foodie experience with accompanying history behind the dishes tasted . Great day with a very knowledgeable guide, with a great mix of items to sample. LOVED IT!
